I'm already trying to think of names for all the new characters I'm going to make when Supernatural is released For others who are thinking about names too, I have two questions.

Do you know of any good random name generators online that can make fantasy/magic names for sims?

What are you going to name your sim(s) and what type of sim will they be?

I tried it out to see what would be a good name for my sim, Gia, if I made her into a zombie. The name generator suggested "Gia the Crumbling-Skullcracker"

Witch name: HIDEOUS Arabella Cockroachbasher
Fairy: Bracken Icetree

The vampire one said "Agnes Mare
Known in some parts of the world as:
Consort of The Cruel"

They're all neat name generators because they also provide a little description of the character, which could really inspire me when I'm not sure what kind of adult Gia will grow into.

Thank you. And yes they are. Hopefully. When I try making twins in CAS, one always ends up slightly older.

Yeah, I don't like that about CAS twins. :roll: Although, there is a lifetime reward that sets your sim back to the start of their current age. You could get that for both of them and use it at the same time to make them age together properly.

Or maybe we'll have a spell/new potion for fixing that

I already have several families planned out in life states and whatnot and am beginning to figure out names, here is what I have so far (using google )

werewolf female- Whisper Moonlight
Werewolf male- Dante Moonlight
werwolf male- Wulfric Moonlight
werewolf female- Porcelain Moon
werewolf male- xavier moon
werewolf female- Willow moon
Evil female witch- Agatha Hallow
evil male witch- Gunthar Hallow
evil male witch- Seth Hallow

Those are all my werewolf names, and only a few witches and I haven't even started looking at the other lifestates names yet. I'm working on it

I'm going to make a male fairy named Haeslyn Noshadow (something that sims say in simlish in The Sims Medieval They also say "Phoebe Legs" but that's one of my sims' stage names already!)

I'm always terrible at names. Most of the time I use the randomize name tool until I find one I like. It's a lot easier than what I used to do, which is just sit there until I think of a name I haven't used too much. That probably wouldn't work too well for occults, unless I want them to be magical in disguise. You know, that's actually not a bad idea...

Although I'm not sure how I'd hide being a fairy from others.

I usually pick names while waiting for the baby to be born--but when I'm surprised with twins or triplets, I stare at the name pop-up box until something comes to me. But I especially want to come up with special names for fairies. Elf names would probably work.

You gave me an idea! I went off to play Medieval and randomised names in the CAS. Some of the generated names were really fitting for witches and fairies (maybe vampires).

I just use a name generate called the fantastical world of peter potter in wonderland ( or something to that effect ). I might want to go there and name stock then prepare for the five new games I'll inevitably start once I get the pack.

Off topic happy ooze: What I'm happiest about aside from the new town and life states is that we can crowd control the vamps and celebs. while the latter isn't an issue I am sick and tired of nine tenths of the elderly population turning into vampires clogging up my game. No joke there's more of them than I can shake a meteor at so for that they've made me one very very very very very happy girl for that little add on.

Aww that's too bad After today I think Medieval is my new favourite way to get fantasy/old names.

It's a collection of fantasy name sites. Some of the sites are hit or miss but there are a few really useful ones. Some sites are creature specific so you can find names specifically for fairies/witches/vampires/werewolves - if you're into the meaning of names and whatnot.

I like the idea of getting more fantasy-style names from Medieval... except I am completely heartbroken over Medieval being discontinued and I don't think I can bring myself to load it up
