@LeucosiaX Yes it can be hard if they are identical in the game, this is one reason I change their hair style and hair color and dress them differently, so I don't get confused.

I did have that happen once in the sims 2, they looked identical, but their skin color and hair color was different.
I have this terrible urge to restart my game. Perhaps, it's all of the chatter about doing such a thing, but today, I had a random crash and when I restarted, it put the wrong household as the first choice. What is up with that? I yearn for a fresh brand-new save. Just moving certain saves into a new Saves folder into a new Game Folder isn't doing it anymore.
Either talk me out of this, or let me know if you're interested in a Baby Erik? I do know when I brought up the possibility of having to start all over again a few months back, some of you were very intrigued, since the family spent quite some time living on Vulcan before they ultimately returned to Earth.
Today, I did something I never thought I would do. Not being a huge fan of Star Wars but taking a good look at the CAS and Build stuff, I went ahead and bought it for 40% off. I also spent some time downloading some futuristic residential builds for the possibility of living on Vulcan for a time.
I am very much open to opinions on this one. Please, and thank you, in advanced.
@LeucosiaX Congratulations on Lorenzo's first win. I love the fact the baby said Da-da, (which is common for English-speaking babies, as da-da is easier than momma.) Go figure.

I do the same. I had a set of identical triplets, and they each had their own style and hair. Also, with the twins, I color-coded them when they were young and now, their hair is basically styled differently. Heck, I had a hard time discerning the boys one from the other. Craziness.

The only answer that matters is what do you want to do? If you would have fun with a restart, then restart. If you're happy with what you have, keep on keeping on. If you like where you are, but want to explore Baby Erik, you could always set up a "flashback" save (that's what I'm doing right now).

Also moved mods to desktop before any of that. Once I reinstalled and put mods back in I started up a new game & so far no issues except nectar taking a long time to age to each level.
Hated losing some of my saves but it was needed. Oh, I also saved builds, etc I wanted to keep from my library to the gallery so I could get them: things I knew were ok.
So if you need to, go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing baby/child Cantrells 🙂.

I think part of this is my disappointment in that I had a save years ago. After I completed the PInstar Legacy Challenge using Erik from Sims3, as the Founder, I wanted more time to explore this family from Erik's perspective. All the kids were born in-game. Erik began to explore music at an early age. He had finally become a teen, when the Road to Fame mod (with Professional Singer career added) and I played him for a short time, but then things went horribly wonky. With help from the Discord for this modder, it became clear, that not only was my save corrupted, but Erik himself was corrupted.
I may do as you're suggesting. Set it up, play it, and use bits for a flashback when the opportunity presents itself. Thanks for your input.

I have these gambling tables in some of the private bungalows in my club in Sulani.
They light up so the look great in clubs as well.
I used them for my bottle service tables at the Limelight.
This JTB bar is one of Kate Emerald's favorite items & she said she loves to used them in almost all her builds. This is a penthouse apartment of Kate's I have Shiloh living in San Myshuno.
I combined these JBT light fixtures with a overhead fan for my cafe in Brindleton Bay because they look so eclectic yet vintage. It feels like a really cool designer lamps that fit this space really well.
They have a bunch more cool lamps and stuff.
The thrifting in the bubble tea shops don't let you access your custom content, so I rely heavy on JTB items to make cool looking ensembles. I can't find an examples because I think I sold them all in gameplay around the time THS came out, but it pieces look very minimal and so tastefully eclectic like some designer brands. I think they worked they work on the JTB catalog is among the best in the game.
@GalacticGal Happy Pascha! I would suggest uploading the lots/sims you want to keep to the gallery & downloading them after, but I'm not sure if you'd want other people downloading them.
@LeucosiaX I just purchase JTB this morning. I was so busy getting a new save ready (by making certain I uploaded all of my current builds and Sims) to have the at the ready for the brand new save. I have barely started gameplay. I decided to take up the story with Joseph, Louise and toddler Aaron and Infant Erik.
Meet Joseph Allistair Cantrell, whose skill as a teacher caught the attention of the Vulcan Ambassador to Earth. He was offered the job of overseeing the education of the Human children in the Human Compound on Vulcan.
His wife, Louise, is an up and coming Artiste of some renown. Already she's gained two stars of fame for her incredible work with a paintbrush. She balances her work along with two very young boys. That's the infant, Erik cuddling with her.
The finally were able to move out of the hotel and into their new home. It's nearly as small and cramped as the hotel suite they had.
@BlueSeaWaves They do! Jac got blocked on transporting in, so I had to cheat teleport him in. Pets work kind of wonky while in Batuu, if you use a mod to be able to control pets directly that stops working. So it's not really a very pet friendly place.

@BlueSeaWaves The trouble with Flashbacks is the reader can get stuck in the mire, and so can the writer, for that matter. It's a tricky business, but right now, I'm going with the reset. The humble beginnings of this family and their adventures being on the poor side and how they got to where they will. If I find a reason for one of the Cantrell siblings to find their father's journals . . . that might provide a segway into a flashback. I have not deleted or otherwise destroyed the Current Cantrell Save. No worries about that. Erik hasn't even met his grandson, yet.
@GalacticGal I could have sworn it was you flying away in the big ship which I know is the end of the story. I must have confused you with another of a similar name. Have a good time on your epic journey in the game.
So yesterday was an eventful day in my game. Caroline and Eliza finally had their wedding. They're happily living in a very stylish house in Brindleton bay with their kids and are both advancing their careers so life is going well for them.
Becca got the want to have a baby so she and Kanye decided to go for it. I'd had all girl babies so far in this save so I had Becca eat lots of carrots and it worked because they got a lovely wee boy who they named Owen. Kanye's ex wife Angela has been causing a lot of bother by starting fights with both of them so they have both declared her their enemy now but other than that they're happy. Kanye is at level 9 of the journalist career and Becca is at level 7 of the author career, although she's currently having a break to get Owen through the toddler stage. Duchess the dog seems to love having a little brother about.
I haven't done a great deal with Angela in the other household, choosing to concentrate more on Florence. She is an extremely sociable teen who is already at level 6 of charisma and seems to love research and debate. I'm thinking law as a career for her because it would suit her to a tee. She is also a massive dog lover and visits her dad's house to get some playtime with Duchess in regularly. No romance on the cards yet but I've got plans for who she'll marry eventually - he's in my library waiting to be introduced at the right time

“When are you and Pico going to come visit us at Chestnut?”

“I'm sure we can find a place." A quick shot to flex with, haven’t done this interaction in years They ate their food really fast. Probably cause they really wanted the plate of Tiramisu, can’t blame them😆 Before leaving Alexis gave Cat a kiss on the cheek. Unbeknown to them, Agnes Crumplebottom was in the vicinity. She threw her handbag at Alexis Catalina laughed and after giving Alexis a kiss, Agnes hit her too 😆 If it was anyone else but Agnes, Alexis would’ve acted differently but instead had to admit it was fun unforgettable moment.
Pico raced downstairs when he looked out the window and saw them both sitting on the bench. He sat behind waiting, he had a little inside information about something that was going happen.
“You think that old lady is in the dark hiding, waiting to whack us with her bag again?”
Cat laughed. “No, but what was in that thing? Does she carry brick in there?” Pico knew something was going to happen but he was growing impatient.
“This is taking too long. I can be playing right now” Right as Pico left to run around they got up to head inside. Alexis stopped Cat to hold her hands, taking a moment to compose herself. After taking a deep breathe she immediately lost her train of thought and stood there speechless. She didn’t expect to get nervous so suddenly. She began to wonder how Cat was able to do it the first time. Alexis got down down on one knee hoping words will find their way out. It helped, sort of.
“I had a whole thing planned to say but it slipped my mind, I’m sorry. *deep breath* Cat, will you marry me?” Pico was missing the moment as he ran to the ramp By the time he turned out he saw he missed it. She said yes Least he was the first one to congratulate them. Alexis crafted the ring with diamond. Wanted to use a baby blue color crystal(forgot the name) but the diamond effect decays romantic relationships less and less likely to develop romantic fear. Perfect for them.
Alexis froze and just stood there smiling awkwardly for a while before proposing, thought it was cute and decided to run with it🙂
