    Hi All/My Youtube Channel (Ruby SimsFatale)

    Hey all!

    I just realized that there was a section for those of us with Sims 4 related video content to share.

    I thought I'd introduce myself/my channel over here. I'm Arubiana and I have a YouTube channel dedicated to Sims 4 content. I have a weekly (one new episode every Saturday) "soap opera" revolving around Eliza Pancakes and her not so happy marriage to Bob.

    I'm also planning to have a series revolving around Sterling Hudson from my WooHoo Challenge video, I'm just having trouble fitting it into my schedule at the moment.

    I try to have each episode focus on the story arc so I may employ cheats here or there to avoid having to show skill grinding or anything like that.
    My story is a bit darker more drama than happiness sometimes geared toward the teen and up crowd. I'm still learning the finer points of audio and video editing, but I'm having fun doing it.

      I'm learning to edit videos, too. I'm struggling with finding a compromise between easy, high resolution, and smaller file size. I am using screen-castomatic and sometimes the in-game video, and then editing in Windows MovieMaker, but I'm not that happy with either program.

      I'm editing with Sony Vegas, I'm finding smoother transitions to be kinda difficult at the moment, I'd also like to learn the pan and zoom functions.

      I'm capturing with Dxtory, My captured video file sizes are huge too. I haven't figured out a good way to archive the captured video, I'm not quite ready to part with the unedited files yet. ;/

      I bought two terabytes of external hard drive to store video, and that seems likely to be good for a while. It cost about $90 USD. Transitions are a problem in MovieMaker, too. It seems like one cut in three I get several seconds of blackout around it fr no apparent reason.

      An external drive sounds like a good idea, I might have to start saving for one.

      I've been doing simple overlapping transitions where the clips slightly overlap/fade into each other. Or an arrangement where the clips touch, but don't overlap.

      It's just overlapping the clips every so slightly...if you get it right one fades into the next. I'm not sure what the official/correct name is for it though

      Quite fun series, at least from what I watched so far.
      Also, I couldn't help but laugh for 10 or so minutes on the part where you say "Bob isn't very happy with the marriage either", changes the camera to Bob and he is having a blast on that bathtub. ahahah
