Current Style Invalid for Store Content?

I recently bought the everyday kids collection, and two of the hairstyles, specifically the side braid and the paper hat with the newspaper pattern (there's a version without the newspaper pattern that doesn't have this problem) whenever I go into create a style says the style is invalid. I tried reinstalling but that didn't work, and when I hover my cursor over the beads on the side braid they highlight as if you can customize them, but I can't. Is this a glitch?
