I never liked this pack @Eleri That and eco lifestyle I think are trends that I personally find a bit obnoxious but I appreciate the sims team are on trend- just not my cup of tea.

@LeucosiaX I was actually intrigued by the Eco Lifestyle trailer. Then I saw the let's plays and I was "nah." When you put aside all of the elements that are either poorly conceived, poorly tuned or underwhelming, what you have left is a crafting hobby and some nice BB. Nice for a Stuff Pack, but an EP? Hard pass. I don't know if my thoughts on Eco Lifestyle count as an unpopular opinion, though. I feel like the community reaction to that pack was pretty mixed.

@Umbreon12 I'm a low fantasy player, so I like a mix of occult and every day. Oddly enough, I bought Tiny Living on sale because a thought the BB might be useful for the Zombie Apocalypse Challenge.

I like the fantasy packs more, and ironically, my supernatural Sims live normally among non-supernatural. Tiny Living, and Strangerville are good packs for Zombie challenge. The infected Sims in Strangerville can enter other worlds, and add to the challenge.

@Thetford - I agree! I think way too much is made of Sims 3 open world.

This will be considered a bit off the wall, but I am not too thrilled that Vitiligo has been added to the game.
Before anyone gets angry, just hear me out, I do actually like that we have more skin options, and it does exist in real life. It is very rare, and everyone should be represented in the game.
My issue is there is a certain crowd that makes Vitiligo look super common, and tend to only use it to get clout. Which to me downplays the actual skin tone itself.
I do plan to use it myself, but extremely rarely, since it is a rarer condition itself.
Also, this kind of applies to my feelings for the other things added. Love that it is added so people feel more seen, and feel like they are represented, but I feel that their are others who treat is more as a fashion/clout statement, rather than an actual thing.

I understand exactly what you’re saying. Somehow certain things, like vitiligo and heterochromia have become “trendy,” especially with cc creators who use these very real conditions on every sim model they create. To me, when you use something like this (something very real to very real people) as a fashion accessory, it is demeaning to those who live with it.

I’m glad vitiligo is in the game so those who have it are represented. I wish some sims cc creators weren’t verging on exploitation with their attention getting use of these features.

That is my issue with things like that, because people with vitiligo were teased/bullied in real life for having it. As for heterochromia, I don't know if people were bullied for it as much, but it is extremely rare in humans. I hate how both are seen as "trendy," which I feel kind of negates the real life things people went through for having those traits. People with freckles on their faces have said that they got bullied for those too, but now it is trendy to have them. CC or not. It is demeaning, because so many people have suffered from having vitiligo, whether being bullied or just having to live with it. Things like that are always a double-edged sword.

Listen. I understand that a lot of nostalgia surrounds the early games for a lot of simmers. And, I’m all for incorporating the game’s past while still moving forward. But, I’m sorry. Nothing can make me understand the constant demand for the vibrating heart beds and heart tubs from early titles. Even in my youth, those things were cliches for sleazy rendezvous. Why are they so high on everyone’s want list? Let’s just wait for the casino pack. Maybe they’ll even throw in some Elvis impersonators to make it really classy.

And, I’m pretty sure bachelor parties don’t involve many cake dancers these days, either. Cake dancers all over Nevada had to actually learn to dance so they could get real work as showgirls. Bach parties have changed. There may still be some scantily clad ladies involved, but modern bachelor parties seem to be more experience or destination based.

Times change. What is relevant changes. I’m afraid what was 😉😀😮 in the original game is just going to be 😆🥱🙄 in this one. But, to each their own. Maybe they can do a “Blast to the Past” kit for those who still need these things in their games.

I will admit that I'll be happy either way. I only have very vague memories of the old content that you are describing. You have to admit though that it would be a really funny pack. Also, about bachelor/bachelorette parties, they are often still a bit tacky unless one decides to be a non-conformist. I have to say that if they came out with an Elvis impersonator, I would just end up laughing. I do agree that there are other things they could be doing but some of those things you are describing are about as iconic as the Goths or Don Lothario.

Eh, I'd like to see the heart bed and jacuzzi come out of the vault but they are not fundamental to my gameplay. They would just be fun.
    Champ and Girlie are dogs.

    Strangerville is my favourite pack.

I can never get enough fancy male clothing.

My unpopular opinion : we have enough male haircuts with thick windswept hair. A lot of them look very similar. I would like a few more half bald options. I believe we have one in outdoor retreat (not up to standard with newer hairstyles) and one in snowy escape. Loads of real life men have a retreating hairline but it is difficult to recreate them in game.

Yes, I want more receding hairlines and bald patches.

Also more etherial long hairstyles for men, the female hairs don't gel well.

I don't like it when EA changes the original Sims 4 households with the "updates" on the characters. They should've only updated their clothing and maybe make up, but not change their whole looks and/or traits. :disappointed::-1:

Old Don was in a handful of the best looking premades, now we have one less of those and they are getting rarer.

I don't care about new food in the game

I could deal with only a glass of water, salad, spaghetti and lobster, just enough to decide how much I want to insult a date.

    Pufferfish can also stay.
