We all know the maternity wear options leave a lot to be desired, especially if you choose to play without CC. There's the camouflage shirt and sweat pants, or the sheep night gown.




I want to see what you can do with what the game gives us, to give our mommas-to-be a little more style. For those who don't know, it is possible to plan your sim's maternity wear without the use of mods. You just have to change her into something maternity friendly before she gets the baby-bump. This is normally done after you hear the chimes and she's feeling nauseous for "mysterious reasons," before she does the little spin and realizes she's pregnant.

To help you out here is a list I made of all the maternity friendly clothes in the game: here. Please let me know if there is anything I need to add or remove.

Rules:

1. Clothing must be one of the maternity friendly options only.
2. Hair, accessories, and shoes may be from any EP, SP or the store. No CC.
3. Patterns may be used, but you must provide a link to where the pattern can be found and downloaded. (If you only use a patterns that comes with the games you may put "n/a" in that part of the entry form.)
4. Fill out the entry form provided.
5. You must provide links to your exchange uploads, so other sims can enjoy your creations. You will need to upload clothing, shoes & accessories that you recolor. Uploading your model is not required.
6. Each person may enter up to 3 times. Give each entry a unique name.
7. Give the entry a description. Where and why is your sim wearing this outfit? Is she dressing for comfort at home, going on a date night, etc, etc?
8a. Provide pictures to show the head-to-toe look. This can be done in CAS or in-game with a solid backdrop. Pose Player or moviemakercheats is allowed, but not required.
8b. Provide an additional in game picture to show where your sim would wear this outfit. Pose player or moviemakercheats is allowed, but not required.
9. A baby bump is not required, because I know not everyone plays with mods to easily make a pregnant sim, and not everyone is going to want to wait a few sims days for their sim to become pregnant. A pregnant sim will be a 1 point bonus in judging.
10. Be nice to other participants and spectators!

Can we upload a sim wearing all of our maternity outfits and just enter her.

I want exchange links for the individual clothing pieces and accessories. You can upload your model if you want to, but that is not required for the contest.

Each entry is an entire look from head-to-toe. So that can be a top and bottom, or an outfit. You should also include hair, shoes, and accessories as appropriate to complete the look you are going for.

If you want to do more than one entry (you are allowed up to 3) they can be from different categories (everyday/formal/etc) or all from the same category. Whatever you want to do.

Can the model have cc?

Clothing, hair, shoes, & accessories to all be EP/SP/store, not CC. CC skin or eyes are fine since you don't need to upload your model, but try and keep the CC to a minimum.

Yes, you can do that way. I just wanted to make sure people knew there was a way to plan maternity clothes without Master Controller for those who play without mods.

I'm having such a hard time choosing an in game pic!

I know the rules stated we need 2 pics, but is there a limit on additional pics?

How about a limit of three pictures total per entry.

Can we upload to Mediafire and stuff? I try not to upload many clothes to my studio, but I'd like to give this a go.

I'd prefer the exchange, but mediafire is okay.
