How to Report a Problem with The Sims 3 Store Content

Hey Simmers!

We do our very best to provide you with a consistent stream of quality content, but every once in a while a bug slips through, and when it does we really appreciate that players are so proactive about bringing these issues to our attention so we can further investigate.

Some things I have noticed though is that there is a wide array in the amount of information that is included in these posts, and where these issues are being reported on the forums. When the information in these posts is incomplete it can be difficult to track down the issue, and when they’re reported in so many different places on the forums it is harder for our forum moderators to find and escalate these concerns as quickly.

In regards to what information is useful for bug reporting, I’ve put together a sample template of information that helps us track down issues more quickly. This information is not necessary for us to investigate an issue, but it is very helpful and will allow us to respond faster. However, please keep in mind that while we do our best to monitor the forums, we cannot guarantee that we can respond to every issue.

• Describe the issue that you are experiencing
• What Expansion and/or Stuff Packs do you have installed?
• What Sims 3 Store Content do you have installed?
• What Custom Content/3rd Party Mods do you have installed (if any)?
• What is your dxdiag information?*
• What patch version are you currently on?**
• Screenshot of the issue
