How I think adding cars could be a potential beneficial game changer

I think if cars were implemented as transportation pick up way original early games were for getting to work etc. Then in my personal opinion it could been used to avoid long walks some places have between transit, the get famous star lots come particular into mind taking long winded walk to leave properties, imagine if you could upgrade cars like some modern cars already have auto drive mode, to simply drive up when you wish to leave and your sim can walk into car take over or drive of the lot quite faster than long runs or walk out the lot area.

I do believe it could be one way of adding cars where it would make a big difference to gameplay time wise. Then maybe in doing so also make some lots which is currently not that attractive to have due to long walk/run when getting to home lot and leaving it.
