6 Baked Potatoes on the floor. Can't be deleted.

Hello,
I placed 6 baked potatoes from my Sims Hold inventory on the floor to throw them away but I can't throw them away, or delete them or move them.
Any help?

Try going into build mode and make a room around the baked potatoes. Then delete the room. Doing this should remove the food.
