Hi all. I am in tears because i can't play. I have anxiety and depression and the sims is my only way out and i can't play it. This has never happened before. I don't know what to do. I have tried everything. I can't log in to EA to get help and I can't log on to the Australian forums. I am at my wits end. It just will not go online. Any ideas? Please I am so upset.

Are you able to log in to Origin?
Shut down your computer completely. Then start the computer and then try to log in to Origin and start the game.

Check to make sure that your antivirus or firewall are not causing issues.

Remove any mods/cc that you have and see if that helps.
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Delete the origin cache files

If you are still have problems, uninstall and reinstall origin

When you try to log in to Origin, there is a link at the bottom that says " can't access account? " . Press that and that may help.
Or you could do what the EA Advisor suggested, by making another account only so as you can be in touch with EA to tell them about your account. Usually you shouldn't have more than one account,but it may help you in this situation, so as you can be in touch.

Try uninstalling origin again, but this time before reinstalling, run cc cleaner.

I am sorry that you still can't get into your account. I hope that doing what the person on Facebook suggested helps. Have you tried making another account, just so that you can be in touch with an advisor, so as they can help you with your main account?

For some reason, Origin cannot recognize that my mobile broadband is connected to the Internet.
Do you have any other computers at home or any that you can find? If you have any at home and if possible, try downloading Origin and see if you can login from that other computer. Or if you can't download anything onto the computer, then see if you could go to an EA website and log in.
I hope you don't have that awful "Must be logged in for the first time" thing, since I see that you've already uninstalled Origin.
Delete your internet cookies and use clean disk to delete your temp files.
I will post a link to a part of an article that refers to connection issues. It may perhaps help. There may be some Internet ports that are blocked.

Yeah, it could be your internet at home. I can't log in from home on all my 3 laptops.
Does the Origin pop up load really slowly too when you're connected to the Internet?
Like, this screen goes on for more than 30secs?
And then it just gives up. XD
If you have the Online login thing like this after that, you can type in your details and it will log you in:
If nothing happens, then I guess you have a different problem than me, but you can at least try and tell us how it goes.
And yes, I'm also at a loss of words. I don't know why this is happening but I can go online as well. Maybe our internet speeds aren't fast enough...?
I'm suspecting that the joining of EA account and Origin is causing this problem. I've never had this problem before.
