Blasted Internet!

So, I can't use my computer in my room for internet purposes, as the internet card was damaged (how is beyond me). ANWAYS, is there a way to download CC on this computer and transfer it to my computer that I play the Sims on? I was thinking to download it and put it on a geek stick, where I can upload it onto my computer. Would that work? Or should I not waste my time?

    Geek stick?

*sigh* There are so many different names for USBs these days. I know people who call them giggy sticks. I laugh everytime I hear that.

Jeez, It's just a word. I didn't use a racial slur or anything. Don't get your knickers in a bunch. Thank you, however, for letting me know. Sorry for offending you.

the term geek stick angers me.
the fact that i have several of sed 'geek sticks' would make me a geek.
    which i am not.
the techinal term for it is a flash drive.
it is plugged into a usb port.
mouses, cameras, ipods, and other such devices are also plugged into a usb PORT.
i felt the need to educate everyone on that.

    it infact is.
i wouldnt want them trying to plug a mouse into a floppy disk drive.
that would make things a weebit complicated.

From one geek to another, the rant is just not helping your cause of proving your un-geekiness. People just need to simmer down (haha) and not take life so gosh darn seriously! I mean, you are on a forum for a video game, it's supposed to be fun. You are supposed to help, inform, and befriend the people who have similar interests. You are criticizing them for a word, a word, that is not meant to be taken seriously. So, again I tell you, don't take everything seriously. You could pop a brain muscle.

Yes, it works. That's what I do because my Sims computer doesn't have Winzip. Download it on your computer with internet, extract your files and save your .package or .sims3pack on your USB. Then, just transfer. Easy pie :)
