Help, please?

I have a couple questions;
1. I'm having a bit of trouble downloading CC into my game. I've put the 'Resource' file in my root folder, and made The Mods and Packages folders. But does anyone know what I have to do next? *is dumb*
2. Is there any way on this site to talk with other simmers besides the forums?

    Download the helper monkey thing from MTS. It makes everything easier.

    Only way to talk to forum members is on the forum.

    1st Download the installer monkey from MTS. Save it to your desktop and double click on it to instal. Download and right click on the file. Click extract here, then double click on THAT and push install to sims 3

    You don't need the monkey because you've done everything =/

    Just put the .package file in the Packages folder.

    You don't have it in My Documents, right? It doesn't go there.

    @Whales_Rock- I don't understand helpermonkey.

    All it does is set up the folders for you? You still need WinRAR, correct?

    Aw, D: If it set up folders, gave you a resource AND unzipped the files, theeen I would start recommending it. :mrgreen:

    (Problem solved. :mrgreen: Don't feel bad, I went back and downloaded the hair... at my own risk. :lol: )

    C:\Program Files (x86)> Electronic Arts> The Sims 3> Mods>Packages

    Extract the files there ^
    And then put the resource file in

    C:\Program Files (x86)>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3

    Right?
