Please forgive me if this isn't the correct category for this. I have scoured the Internet and can't find what I am looking for. I'm heavy into the 18th century and would very much like to have a Colonial American linen cap for females. This is a simple white cap, with a bit of a ruffle around the edges, worn, primarily, to help keep their hair clean in between washes. There are more than enough dresses out there, although I would love to come across the shorter dress (which made it look more like a jacket) and the skirt with apron that most wore, over the fancy rococo dresses that were likely more for formal affairs. Mostly, I would love to find the cap. I can easily wing it with the rest that's out there. If someone is willing to make it, or if anyone knows where I can find this item, I would greatly appreciated it.
