My sim just got married (first time since City Living). If I just let he and his wife go about their business, he is serenading her 5-6 times a day. And he's not even flirty. It sounds ridiculous as it is, since he suddenly breaks out in this Italian/Shakespearean type voice, but I may have to kill him if he keeps doing it at this rate. No autonomous or death!

Yeah, he was inspired most of the time he did it, I noticed. He's creative, loves music, and has a high singing skill (not to mention just married) which was probably asking for trouble. But I may have spoken too soon, anyway; he seems to have knocked it off, at least for right now. It could have been some kind of a honeymoon period, which I didn't know they could even do. Either that or having twins took the wind out of his sails. Either way, it was still a tad bit annoying, honeymoon or no. Just stop singing and go woohoo or something...
Oopsie, Double-post.

Emphasis mine. I'm thinking as irksome as you're finding it, that your Sim has merely embraced those wonderful, early, romantic "honeymoon" days of the newly married. Let them have their moment. If it gets to be too much, let the fighting begin. He leaves the toilet seat up, she leaves the cap off of the toothpaste. You know, the normal "I have to get used to living with you" moments that nearly every couple experience.
Hey, at least they got married. My Gen. 9 Heir got turned down by the female he fell head-over-heels for. Now, after a fit of flirtyness utterly consumed them, she's on the Nest, at least. We'll see if she'll consent to marriage at some point. The only problem is, once baby boy is born, the Legacy Challenge is ended. I'm so ready to move on to another set of Sims. LOL
