Work Performance sudden drop bug [with known cause]

Problem: Work Performance can increase during work, however when the Sim finishes for the day, it drops down by several 'clicks' suddenly.
When observed: Sim on Literary Track 'Novelist'
Reason/cause: The bug is introduced when the Sim has the "Get a promotion" whim (To earn 100 points).
Workaround: Cancel the whim and the work performance level won't drop after finishing work for the day.
