While I was playing my game, I ran into this sim which I believed to be a randomly generated townie.



I looked at her name and it was Candy Bar. I'm not joking.

The name generator for this game must have decided to fun with the name of the sim.

I've seen NPC's with that name before, but not often. I think they have it programmed to use those names together. There are other, similar names I've seen too, where the two names make a phrase descriptive of what the sim does. I think I saw one once named Robin Steel, who was a burglar. I might be wrong about the exact name, but it was something that definitely fit a burglar.

I think one of the party dancers from the bachelor parties has a strange name like that too.

The game uses a lot of word play on the premades

Example Premade maid in Twinbrook Anne T Septic obviously Antiseptic

A bunch match what they do or tools of their careers like another

Susan Marinara pizza delivery girl from Starlight Shores obviously Marinara sauce

I had a game generated sim with the name Joey LeBlanc which is a clear combination of
Joey Tribbiani from Friends portrayed by Matt LeBlanc... I think... because no way it is random.

Growing up one of my real life neighbors was named Candy Cane

I'm not sure why, but one of the funniest townie names to me is Bubba Conrad. Maybe because I found him picking up his child from daycare dressed like this:

That's a very noble surname with historical overtones. Will have to assume, even if she has no family tree, that she has ancestors with names like Mickey, Mighty, Danger, and of course, Bullwinkle.

If she happens to be a writer, I hope one of the novels she works on will be called "Of Moose and MenSims." I know that one shows up on its own in the game quite often.
