Asking for a bedtime story causes the target sim to reset? (NRaas)

This is a weird one to be honest.

Whenever my child asks another Sim for a bedtime story, that Sim immediately disappears (resets) and NRaas ErrorTrap goes off.
It's kind of annoying because it's rinse and repeat unless I tell him to go to bed (or he'll just keep asking other Sims)

I'm hoping igazor can explain this weirdness (unless my child is the spawn of Satan or something )

If you're stuck in a never-ending loop of ErrorTraps like that, you may have to MC Reset the sims (or the lot), or reload the game, to get out of them. As for the actual exception error, this was supposed to have been fixed by a much earlier version of Overwatch. Unless you have a very unusual custom scripted bookshelf on this lot or a mod from another source that has something to do with books and reading? If it persists, sorry but I would have to ask if you could bring it to us at NRaas, zip the logs together, upload, and open a support thread. Our developer does not have a presence on this forum.

Apparently this was caused by someone putting a newspaper in the bookcase.
I tested after removing it and the "Read Bedtime Story" interaction works as it should.

Honestly, how silly.

LOL, now there's one I've never heard of before. I bet you could have stumped our developer with it (that's always fun)! Wonder what other silly things sims can shove into bookcases. Ever find a pile of dirty dishes or laundry in there? The family pet?

@igazor So now I have to ask, if someone stumps the nraas developer, what's the prize? It has to be something fun, right? I bet you guys have all kinds of goodies over there, stuffed under virtual mattresses and behind suspiciously placed digital paintings.

Imagine the look of surprise on a sim's face when they get something from the bookcase and sit down to read it, but it turns out to be a squirming toddler. Or a teen, if they had been forgotten and left alone in there long enough.

In answer to the question posed, some contests don't have a prize other than the joy of playing and the good feeling that comes with having succeeded.
