The Sims 4: Glitz and Glamour

The Sims 4: Glitz and Glamour

The Sims 4: Glitz and Glamour would be an expansion pack to come out for The Sims 4, It would primarily focus on the nightlife of The Sims 4, It would include more advanced systems for nightclubs and bars as well as Casinos

Los Torendi

Los Torendi would be the new world to come with Glitz and Glamour, It would take inspiration from Las Vegas, Hollywood and New York.
The city would have three new neighbourhoods;

Firstly, There would be a modern/art deco neighbourhood, This neighbourhood would be very New York (Roaring 20's) inspired and would have many mansions and one very classy nightclub for all the Los Tokanos celebrities.

Secondly, There could be a Hollywood inspired area, There would be no residential lots but many bars and cinemas with red carpets, as well as a black and gold colour scheme to all the buildings, this are of Los Tokanos would have many palm trees to fit the Hollywood style and your sims would be able to go out on to a special lot that displays many stars on the paving slaps and when the cursor hovers over the stars they show you which celebrity they belong to. Sims may aspire to have their own name on an empty Star of Fame.

Finally, A Las Vegas area filled with casinos, cinemas and Nightclubs, this area would have home lots but many would be cheap and run down caravans and such,

Nightclubs

The Sims 4: Glitz and Glamour would completely revamp Nightclubs, Nightclubs would now be ownable as businesses similar to Restaurants from The Sims 4: Dine Out and Retailers from The Sims 4: Get to Work They would, however function similarly to Resorts in The Sims 3: Island Paradise. The Nightclub would have the original Base Game requirements before you can start adding extras.

1 Star: Hiring a bouncer, This would work the same as hiring a waiter in Dine Out, The bouncer would stand at the door and you could tell him to only let certain groups of people in similarly as clubs in Get Together. Sims could also try and sneak past the bouncer if they do not qualify to enter the Nightclub.
2 Star: Spotlights, Nightclubs could also have a new set of spotlights that move around randomly like in actual Nightclubs, these could be set to make different coloured spotlights, this would give Nightclubs a cool, realistic vibe!
3 Star: Smoke Machine, Smoke Machines could lie on the ground and spew out smoke, this would give the Nightclubs a cool realistic vibe.

Casinos

Casinos could be added to the game as a lot type, the requirements would be 10 Slot Machines, 1 Pool Table and 2 Playing Card Tables along with 6 Chairs. Two types of slot machine would be added, a classy slot machine set and a trashy slot machine set. A pool table would be nice. And of course a poker table. When clicking on a slot machine, The option would come up 'Bet Simoleons...' and then 'Bet $10' or 'Bet $20' Etc. Etc. The Sims Team would probably rig the machines so that everything ends up badly to show young kids gambling is bad and all that stuff. And as for poker table, Who can guess which little old lady would love those?

Mrs. Crumplebottom

In The Sims 2: Nightlife there was an old, posh lady named Mrs Crumplebottom who roamed the streets of Downtown hitting any Sims who dared be romantic in 'MY TOWN' With her dreaded little grey purse. She wore a grey dress and a pillbox hat above her grey hair. She would be an NPC like the Grim Reaper and would be famously a nuisance to any Sims heading to Los Torendi for a date. The only thing she likes more than giving a 'Good Thrashing' to the poor couple is playing poker in Casinos.
Isn't Mrs. Crumplebottom amazing

Hope You like my Idea, Please ask questions and add your own things and we Might get noticed. @SimGuruDrake, @SimGuruRusskii, @SimGuruHydra

Happy Simming

I love this idea, would make nightclubs more interesting. I would like a celebrity system to be added too. Since there's Hollywood I think adding that would make sense.

Love this. Also I think the celebrity life should be included with this world. The sims can go to this world and apply for celebrity jobs such as music/entertainment career, modeling, etc. and also should be able to stay in Hollywood if chooses. Also I think that the paparazzi should only stay in this world and those cities.

I would like to see casino and hotel stuff. I would add a crap table, and roulette wheel to go along. With the slots and poker table ... and it would be cool if they could give the slot machine various colors and games like they do other objects. This would also be good place to add more video games for an arcade too.

Honestly mixing those three cities would be a complete mess and feel tacky. A real glitz and glamour would be a Monte Carlo inspired world with a mix of nouveau riche and old wealth.

How about carrier/profession related field like Media Stars, Modeling.

A MAGNIFICENT gathering Mansion like Hugh Hefner's.

Hi @TheCulturedSim! In some respects mixing three contrasting cities would probably clash, however the three styles which I have chosen, seem, in my opinion, to compliment each other very well. As they are only a certain aspect of their city respectively.
The name, Glitz and Glamour is in some way also agreeing with your point, Glamour is the posh and "old wealth" aspect of the pack and Glitz is the "nouveau riche' and to be completely honest tacky (But in an exaggerated, positive and fun way).
Thank You To Everyone for Such Lovely Comments!
