Apocalypse Question

I have another question about the Apocalypse Challenge.

In the rules it says: Only Sims currently employed in the Medical career may use the Surgical Dummy (for medical career)
Is there anyway to lift a restriction so anyone can use? I didn't read anything about this in the official rules. If no one else can use the item...I might as well not even save the career rewards on the lot. hehe

Once you top a career you unlock the corresponding restriction.

So once someone tops Medical, the Surgical Dummy can be used by anyone if it isn't stated as restricted by other restrictions that you have not lifted.

If you're using the ApocBorg rules, Adventures has to be lifted for anyone to use the Career Rewards. No one can use a Career Reward without Adventures being lifted.
Then, if a Sim is in the Medical field after Adventures lift, they can use the career reward after earning it (the level it's given). No one else can use it until Medical is lifted unless the Sim is in the Medical career. No child, no teen, no adult, no young adult... until both are lifted.

This is my first time doing the challenge. I got the rules on http://www.simslegacychallenge.com/sims-challenges/sims-2-apocalypse-challenge-rules/ which I am sure are more base game rules maybe...I've also referenced http://apocalypsechallenge.kaleiope.com/Seasons Apocalypse.html however I'm not being to strict on myself and kinda working more from the original rules...I might do a separate one with the more strict rules another time hehe...

And @XxIesjuh either of those links I posted or Rflong7 posted will give you the info on the challenge...it's kind of like a legacy challenge on steroids hahaha jk.

What I used to do was post all the restrictions in notepad. I would read throughly and looked for everything that crossed over. As I lifted a career's restrictions, I would delete that set of restrictions and go back through again and find where those same restrictions crossed over and delete them from there also.
So, as time went on, it was easier to follow the restrictions.
