    CAW crashing/blacking out controls

    I'm having a hard time editing in game. Either it crashes right away (i.e., "Sims 3 has stopped working" etc.) or it'll load up but this is what I get:

    Sometimes the entire thing is black, not just half of it. If I try to click anywhere, THEN it crashes.

    Help!

      Hi :)

      I've seen that.... I don't know if it was because of all the Store stuff I had installed or I had to update something like my video card. Anyway, did you try any of the Steps for help in the CAW FAQ stickied near the top of this section?

      I haven't done anything really yet. I was hoping somebody would know what to do off the bat. I'm about to get a lot more invasive in my troubleshooting, though. :lol:
