I am currently playing with a sim that I want to earn all of the degrees with...Yes, she will be getting that Professional Student badge for TS3. Her LTW is currently to reach level 9 in the science field. But, I want to torture her just a little bit and make her suffer through University...A LOT! I first put her through the Tech degree...which is great, but...she burns her food, even though she has the Natural Cook trait.... 
So, maybe I should make her get the Fine Arts degree first, then Technology and then random ones until lastly...Science. <snickers> 
She'll definitely have enough skills to do every job there is out there!
