    Did you notice? Similar Colours with Similar Packs!

    Hello! Look what i've noticed lately : Sims 2 expansion packs' colour themes match with sims 4's depend on pack themes.
    I mean look at these:

    GTW and OFB are similar packs. kinda

    Also Get Together and Nightlife both added similar nightlife elements.

    Now we are getting new ep City Living! It's similar with apartment life.

    So, what do you think? Is it just a coincidence? Or do they do this on a purpose?

      Haha that's amazing! Good eye for spotting the pattern. I hope its not just a coincidence, it's a nice callback to ts2. :smiley:

      Don't the first two also match up with TS3's Ambitions and Late Night, or am I remembering wrong?

      Good attention to detail! I think is in purpose. But this just made me want to play the sims 2 expansions lol...
      The Sims has currently lost its identity. Bring it back for TS5

      Late Night was definitely purple, Ambitions doesn't really scream a certain colour to me though. Hmm actually Ambitions backdrops have a purple hint too.

      Late Night was definitely purple, Ambitions doesn't really scream a certain colour to me though. Hmm actually Ambitions backdrops have a purple hint too.

      Just a weird observation and comment about nothing really important... but I hope if and when EA makes a TheSims5, they go back to using the old s's. The ones they use for the 4 logo are just too... essy? Not very iconically 'simmy', I guess.

      Told you it was a weird observation.

      eta.. I guess it reminds me of that episode of Spongebob where he got all 'normal', and creepy.

      It seems like the purple ones are the more social packs~

      Freetime didn't just add hobby activities though. It also added the Hobby system (The One Hobby based on personality, hobby converstations/mentoring/décor that increased enthusiasm etc).

      Your signature! I realized how much I loved that thing returning to Sims 2 - it was the best. I was just wondering the other day why it wasn't in 3, and 4.... well 4 we know why... but 3 I suppose because of the open world concept... too much detail for the game to prolly keep up with? IDK.
