My sim cant get pregnant! Please read!

My sim is a mother of three, yet she suddenly can't have anymore kids! She and her husband both have fertility treatment, aging is on, and there are five people in my household. Please help!

Is it possible that she is close to a birthday? Sims cannot become pregnant if they are too close to aging up for the baby to be born before the age transition. Also, how long since the last kid? There is a cooldown period after a birth of 2 or 3 sim days (I think this is from the base game, not mods though could be mistaken) during which it's not impossible for a sim to become pregnant again, but much less likely. Though usually that one means they aren't interested in trying, not that they don't succeed.

She's a fairy, and she has 80 something days until she becomes an adult. Her husband had a couple of days before becoming an elder, then it changed to 23 days before becomingan adult, so maybe it's a glitch? Their kids are toddlers and are about to become children.

The Dad's age shouldn't matter, assuming he was not the one to be pregnant. But he shouldn't have flipped from an Adult to a Young Adult like that either without a good reason (like an elixir, potion, the Young Again LTR, or a sudden and confusing change to the age spans in Game Options). Strange.

I've also had some ''fertility'' issues. I don't think it was a glitch on my game but the sim simply had trouble conceiving, just like some people in real life. So maybe that's it? And maybe wait until your kids are children because usually for me, my sims don't conceive when they still have kids who are toddlers.

This sounds similar to what happened in my game, I already had 3 children sims and was trying for a 4th, she had no problems getting pregnant before. The little sound that plays when a pregnancy happens, just didn't play this time and I didn't notice she actually was pregnant until she started to vomit.

WELL if you are on sims 4 like me you just have to age your toddler or babies into a child for the mother to have another one this worked for me i got this myself.

IF you don't know how to age them up early just press ctrl+shift+c and type in the bar testingcheats on ( all lower case) and then type cas.fulleditmode, after that close it by pressing again ctrl+shift+c and then go over the toddler or baby with the mouse and do shift+click press modify in CAS then you should be able to figure out the rest.

@shadowwolfgirl - Hi there. That's great, but this thread is on the TS3 section of the forum so the assumption is that the players here are playing TS3.

I have an issue with the romatic button missing. Once in a great while it will pop up but the only options are skinny dip and stay over. I have a few mods. Woohooer. Master Controller. Go here and Story Progression. I also have 3 different sims in 3 different towns due to multiple people playing on one computer but we just started playing a few days ago. Any ideas?

@Sbearable13 besides the mods, I sometimes will hit the game bug where romantic iterations don't work when they should. Deleting package cashe files helps clean the game of some bugs. I delete them every time I play. They are temporary and will regenerate every time you play. You can also evict the sim in edit town and place them back. This works better than reset sim cheat

@phoebebebe13 - It was the mod we aren't allowed to discuss here that was causing this. The player adjusted one of its settings as advised by PM and all is well again.

I realized what it probably was when the player reported that the entire Romantic menu had gone missing on her sims, not that attempts at romantic interactions (which were thus not available to them) were being ignored or refused by the targets. Agreed on clearing the caches on a regular basis, though.
