Hello all! As a gift on Christmas I received an iMac. I installed The Sim 4 and all of the expansion packs that I own to go with it. However, when clicking on to play the game a message pops up with the following:
Unable to start:
Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications and that the latest video drivers are installed.
[0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012f:912c9c10]
I asked my Father to take a look and try to help me figure out the solution. We looked around various websites (this one included) but no answers seemed to help. We restarted the computer, updated the sims, 'fixed the game' and un-ticked 'open origin in game' (can't remember if that was the official statement) but nothing worked, and the same message still popped up.
This is all of the information to my Mac:

With that being said, I don't know what else to do other than ask for some help which would be greatly appreciated. I do hope that one of you will be able to help as I have tried everything that has been suggested or I have come across. Thank you so much!

Since it is an older type of all-in-one (or any all=in-one for that matter), you will be unable to upgrade the graphics card.
Is this your iMac or about the same?

That su*ks. :/ And yes, that seems about right. (Oh, and I love what you've done with Trevor haha.)

I have no idea how to do that??
Your Mac is not capable of running the game, it is not powerful enough unfortunately as it is fairly old now, 2006? I'm pretty sure you posted this at AHQ and I answered you there too.

Hi, this is the Mac section for Sims4. You should probably post this information in the regular Help Section.
Your computer does not meet the requirements.
Since it is a laptop, you are unable to upgrade its processor or graphics card, so the only option is to buy a new computer altogether. You do need a gaming computer for the Sims.
Notifying...
