Seriously, now that I know how to make things and make them look really good, now I can't stop using it! Help!!!

No but seriously, I don't know why I thought photoshopping was hard to do when it really isn't. I'm even going to teach my brother in law how to use it. I'm actually surprised he doesn't know how to use it, the computer buff that he is.

Nobody actually pays for Photoshop. I didn't I got it from a friend for free

I know I"m a bad person but 300 dollars for a program is insane. I would have gladly paid for it if it was 50 dollars or even 100 but not 300. Not happening. Also my friend bought it and gave it to me (because I told her I like doing art), so technically I wasn't stealing, I was gifted.

Look at me, explaining myself to people who probably don't care how I obtained photoshop. but I just wanted to make sure you guys know I didn't pirate Photoshop (I don't like pirating stuff), someone gave it to me. Just wanted to make that clear. She said she bought it and whether it was true or not, not my business.

I really want to make good thumbnails for my youtube videos, but I can't afford photoshop, and can't figure out how to use GIMP.

I've started doing Photoshop at school. Hopefully I can get it on my laptop soon, would be useful for creating thumbnails for my videos on YouTube

I could be wrong but the newer Photoshop versions require a subscription, you can't actually own the program anymore (newer versions). A lot of people starting pirating it after that.

I have Photoshop CS5 so it's an older version. And no, you aren't wrong. New Photoshop requires a subscription and it ticked a lot of people off to say the least.

I think it's a Creative Cloud subscription you need.

I love Photoshop & I use Cs4, but I've also used Cs2.

I use GIMP, but I love the ability to fix pictures quickly (either by adding filters so that it actually looks like a foggy night, or adding cracks to a "broken" window.)
