No I don't think you can...you can probably do real estate by having your sim purchase a community lot building it up and whatnot than sell it...only way I know to do real estate cause once you build up the community lot you can sell it for more than it was when you bought it. hope this helps
They can buy and sell real estate, yes- only community lots.
Use the computer... and probably the phone, too... they can buy the lots (make sure you have some for them to buy) and they'll get a plaque in their inventory. Hang up the plaque in their business and use the pricer on it to make it available for sale.
And- if your Sims sells a lot to a townie or NPC, the lot goes back to being available to buy. They don't actually keep the lot. But, sell it to one of your playable Sims and they keep the lot.
