NEW ISBI CHALLENGE TWIST!

Welcome to the ISBI challenge twist;

Backwards ISBI

NOTE: This challenge was made when the Gift of Speech Baby Monitor came out and that is part of where the idea came from. It might be very very difficult to do it without it.

Concept:
This is a seven generation challenge. In the I'm Surrounded By Idiots (ISBI) rules, you may only control the torch holder (TH). It is as the ISBI challenge except;

Generation 1 (founder) must be created as an Elder.
He must be male because female elders can not have children.
He must find and woo a partner, have two children, and live until one is an Adult.

Generation 2 takes over as TH on their Adult birthday. This means there is a good chance they have bad traits and/or little to no LTR. This also means they have little time for the wooing process, though more than the first gen.
They must live until one of their children are Young Adults.

Generation 3 takes over as TH on their Young Adult birthday. This will be standard for most simmers. Think of it as a break.

Generation 4 takes over as TH on their Teen birthday. This means that the one essentially running the household has to balance school with it. They get more time to pursue their lives goals however.

Generation 5 takes over as TH on their Child birthday. The challenge really starts up again. How will someone who can't even cook run the household?

Generation 6 takes over as TH on their Toddler birthday. You read right. Good luck. This is where the baby monitor will come in handy as it will let you call out for help when you need it.

Generation 7 takes over as TH on their infantbirthday. Almost the same as generation 6 but it can't be left out.
Once you have hit Elder you have "won". But there is a bonus point.

Try and live until one of the TH's children reaches Elder. Full Circle!

Keep score!

    Rules:

    Torch Holder Rules:
    - You may only control the torch holder, everyone else is on free will at all times
    - If the torch holder dies, it's an automatic game over
    - You cannot hire any service sims - this includes babysitters
    - there is a minimum of 2 children per generation
    - The torch holder may marry a player created sim
    - Every 3 generations the torch holder must take the fertility treatment
    - The torch holder may influence other uncontrollable sims with actions like "call home", "call to meal", "ask to join", etc. Basically,if its an interaction your torch holder initiates, it's fair game.
    - From Gen. 4 onward pay bills with the popup indicating the last day while the TH is teen or younger.
    - You may age up only with a cake on your birthday or automatically
    - you may choose traits only for the TH

    Uncontrollable Sim rules:
    - You must wait until uncontrolled characters reach YA and choose the LTW from the list
    - You must roll the traits randomly when uncontrollable
    - You may manually drag things into and out of an Uncontrolled sims inventory
    - You may lock/unlock wishes for uncontrollable sims but they have to fulfill them of their own free will
    - You may buy LTRs for uncontrollable sims as points are earned
    - You are allowed one free action per age group per uncontrollable sim. These do not accumulate and if are not spend are wasted.
    - You may direct a sim to age up with a cake on their birthday without penalty.
    - You may edit a sim's outfit or hair/makeup with a dresser, mirror, or stylist station without penalty

    Passing the Torch rules:
    - You may move out spares once they are past the proper inheritance age.
    - You may choose to pass over a child as an heir but the are no longer eligible past the birthday of the inheritance age group. You better hope the current TH makes it to when the next child is eligible.
    - Remember: do what you can to keep your TH alive until the heir is ready with the following exceptions:
You may not use cheats or Mods that effect lifespan
You may not age down: that means no young again potions
You must keep aging: that means no age freezing potions or "aging off for selected sim"
You may not touch the age sliders once the challenge has started. No cranking up the age you currently need then putting it back down.
You are aloud a SINGLE death flower for the entire challenge. If unused by one TH, you may pass it on to the next, but if used no more are aloud.

    Lifespan rules
    - Infant must be set on a minimum of 3 days.
    - toddler must be set on a minimum of 5 days.
    - all other must be set on a minimum of seven days.
    - remember: you may not age up early
    - gen 1 (founder) and gen 2 can not be supernatural sims because of the extra long lifespan. Any spares or spouses can be. Past generation 2, heirs may be supernatural.

NOTE: unlike many other challenges, this one is actually more challenging and therefor more fun to play (and read) on longer lifespans. Try and go outside your comfort zone and make things a little longer than usual if you usual play things short! Especially the two youngest age groups that I know many like to skip.
An average normal or long lifespan is perfect for this challenge.

    Cheat rules
No cheats with the following exceptions
    - reset sim in the case of a glitch
    - moviemakercheat to make story images if needed
    - moveobjectson to arange the home as desired or to free a trapped sim etc.
    - give a sim a trait if they age up with one missing. In the case of EA sims with missing traits, this given trait must be random.
    - cheat to make over a sim not in the family. This is best restricted to clothes, hair, make up, etc.
    - buydebug items are fine EXCEPT for spawners, awards, rewards, or gnomes.
All money cheats, or maxmotives, adjustments in friendship, etc, are forbidden.

    Mod Rules
No mods with the following exceptions
-CC clothing, skin, eyes, hair, or otherwise CAS items that do not affect gameplay or lifespan are all fine
-CC items that are decorative, do not speed up skilling, effect lifespan, do not give collectables, plants, or food freely, or otherwise seem to have no true effect on the actual nature of the challenge are fine.
    - Mods such as overwatch that serve the purpose of running the game smoothly are fine.
    - The Masterconrtoller is a hit and miss, no using it to find spouses, skill up, or effect the challenge in those ways.
    - IN GENERAL, IF YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO USE A MOD AS "STRATEGY" TO HELP YOUR GAME IT IS A NO GO. OTHERWISE IT'S FINE.
    - IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF A SPECIFIC MOD, PLEASE ASK.

Just a small bump in hopes that I will get some feedback on this (the rules) and the other subject (the competition). I see a fair amount of views but no feedback.

If there is something you don't like, please tell me!

It occurred to me that there would need to be some sort of lifespan regulation to keep things fair. Updated the rules with what I hope is a fair compromise for those who usually play with infants/toddlers on one day each. But remember: a challenge is about going outside your comfort zone!

Very interesting. I might try this in the future, but wouldn't mind seeing what sorts of wacky tales other simmers come up with.

So this is the challenge you were talking about! Wow!!! Way to tempt me. ;)
If I weren't doing fifty zillion legacies already (and by fifty zillion I mean 3 with two on hold) I would do this. O:
