Making a Resetting Trap in 10 Easy Steps.

Turn on the necessary cheats
Control+Shift+C
TestingCheatsEnabled True
Control+Shift+C
Buydebug on

Step 1:
Buy and place a Trap where you want it to stay.
(You will need space beyond the trap or a Sim will not be able to cross the Trap.)
Buy and place a Hidden Trigger Panel next to the trap. It will be moved later.

Step 2:
Control+Shift+Left Click (hereby called CS click) The Trap:
Set The Trap Type (Any)
Set The Trap's State (Any)
Set The Trap's Fire Rate (Any, but 0,1 is Not Recomended.)
Set The Trap's Time To Fire (Recomend 1 )

Step 3:
CS click the Hidden Trigger Panel. Select Link Triggers then Choose Hidden Switch.

Step 4:
CS click the Trap. Select Link Activated Behaviors then Choose Set to Fire.

Step 5:
CS click the Hidden Trigger Panel. Select Link Triggers (Yes, Again) then
Choose Hidden Switch.

Step 6:
CS click the Trap. Select Link Activated Behaviors then choose Set to Dormant. (Must Set to Dormant)

Step 7:
CS click the Hidden Trigger Panel. Select Link Triggers then choose Hidden Switch.

Step 8:
CS click the Trap. Select Link Activated Behaviors then choose Set to Appear.
(If set to Hidden, the Sim can cause an Endless Loop of stepping on the Trap.)

Step 9:
CS click the Hidden Trigger Panel and Select Reset. (This is Important, Without this the Hidden Trigger Panel will Stop Working.)

Step 10: Using the Hand Icon move and place the Hidden Trigger Panel over the Trap. (Hidden Trigger Panels can be placed on top of other objects, without needing a move objects on cheat.)

What will happen when using these Steps is that a Sim will set off the Trap as Normal and if the Sim is Sucessful in crossing the Trap, the Trap will look Destroyed but, if the Sim crosses the Destroyed Trap the Trap will be triggered again and now it will look like a Visable Normal undamaged Trap, And it will act like one.
You could set the trap to be Disarmable, but it will only look Disarmed or Destroyed, it will still be Active. A Sim can only Really just Atempt to cross the trap and the Trap's fire rate may have an effect on how easy or hard that is.
