Swapping startup disks?

For some reason, My Late Night disk isn't being accepted by my computer (though I have successfully loaded it) I remember back with the first sims game, you could switch which disk you used to start up by installing it last. Can you do the same for the third game? I'd really like to be able to play this from another disk!
