  • Same here, the light always works for me. Kids will sometimes still get a monster but it's very rare when I use the nightlight. I wonder if people realize it has to be left on always and not on auto-light. Placing it above the head of the bed seems to be the sweet spot. And if for some reason the light just won't work for…
  • This pack comes with a lot of cool stuff, you won't be disappointed if you purchase it.
  • How old is your son? Unless he's really little, the vampires aren't excessively scary and might not bother him. Some of them can be creepy in dark form but you can also edit the form to make it less intimidating.
  • Nice work. I love that show so I may add them to my game, :)
  • It's possible that Bob just had a lot of happy buffs at the time that were outweighing the anger. If you hit Sims with it when they don't have many other moodlets it generally works. Keep in mind too that Sims don't always die from the emotional extremes, there's just a chance that they will. When my vampire used burst of…
  • It's because of the sizzling moodlet getting stuck when they go off the lot. It can happen when vampires go to work, too. From what I can tell it's just a UI bug. My vampires sometimes come home with no energy because of burning while at work/school, but as soon as I direct them to go to sleep their energy bar jumps back…
  • @Yuna I believe Deaderpool is adding a function to control the maximum number of vampires the game will generate in the next release of MCCC. I don't know when the update will be available, but it's coming.
  • This has been my experience, too. The first time I use the power I still have to knock to get invited in, but then after that if I go back to the home I can go inside immediately without having to knock.
  • Haha, omg. I hope you put him on the Gallery, I want him in my game.
  • If you have the Influence Emotions power up to the third tier, it can definitely kill Sims without you needing to stack a bunch of other debuffs on top of it. My vampire Sim killed like 3 people in a restaurant using burst of anger. Wasn't even really intentional, I was just testing it, lol. @SageRainWillow Sims must be on…
  • This made me lol really hard...haha. It's so true. :/
  • I agree with you... I prefer the challenges over the boosts. To me, boost weeks just seem like "hey, here's a way to make already easy stuff even easier!" and it just annoys me. I know I don't have to use them, and I don't, but I'd rather they give us more monthly challenges and just drop the boost weeks altogether. Mardis…
  • That's one interaction I just had to mod out. Every Sim will do it, even Good ones. They didn't code it very well, they should have only made it autonomous for Sims with certain traits, like Evil, Mean, maybe even Goofball, but most Sims shouldn't want to do that.
  • I think most Valentines themed stuff is tacky so I won't miss it. I'm glad they're focusing on creating more content that's useful in a broader sense.
  • Yes, my biggest annoyance with the coffee shops is how Sims who visit them won't do anything but order more food and drinks unless you have a club gathering going with other activities involved. I tried to make an Internet cafe for my Sims but the NPCs rarely use the computers I put in, all they want to do is swarm the…
  • I love the vampire pack and I feel that they really outdid themselves on it. For a $20 Gamepack, I'm getting more enjoyment out of it than I have with any other pack released so far. My money was well spent. I'm grateful to the team that worked on Vampires for doing an excellent job and for giving us something that many of…
  • I don't like to neuter my Sims too much by putting tons of no-autonomous mods in my game. I will mod away some of the worst offenders, though. I have a mod to prevent forum trolling, and I tried having a no-auto computer games mod as well but then all they wanted to do was "browse the web" all the time, so I ended up…
  • In order of personal importance to me: -Witches. In their own pack. Hopefully with Magic Town brought back! -Werewolves. Could come with Pets but I'd be cool with them having their own GP too. -Fairies. Could come with Seasons, don't really think they need their own pack. -Plumbots, because my main vampire really misses…
  • I've never cared for Plantsims, personally. Rarely played with them in TS2 or 3. They're pretty much at the bottom of my list of supernatural types I would like to see return (along with mummies and Bigfoot). I'd rather have fairies for the gardening abilities.
  • I love the creepy music though. D:
  • Eh, I'd give it a chance I suppose as long as it isn't online/MMO based like Second Life. I doubt it would be as good as the Sims series, though, at least not right off the bat.
  • I don't understand those people at all. Why would you buy a pack focused on vampires if you really don't want them in your game? If you absolutely just have to have the CAS and build stuff, then you've gotta take the vampires that come along with it or just find some similar looking CC and call it a day. I understand some…
  • I use it on a situational basis. If I am playing a vampire I want to be pretty powerful I will give them Carefree and then the weakness that it negates. For characters who are supposed to be weaker vampires I let them remain tense or give them different weaknesses. I don't like to abuse the Carefree thing too much because…
  • I hope they do more occult packs for sure. Especially witches and werewolves. I would love it if they would do a magic/witch pack and bring back Magic Town from Sims 1. The vampire pack is awesome, I think I've seen less complaints about it and more praise than any other pack for Sims 4 has gotten to date.
  • For me, that monster light cuts monsters under the bed by at least 75%. It has to be always turned on though, not on auto light. I don't know why it seems to not work for some people but since I started using it I rarely get monsters, and I don't mind the occasional monster because I find it pretty funny, especially when…
  • I have a Sim that doesn't like to run, too. He's smug as heck so I figure he does it just to annoy me. His traits are insane, music lover and romantic, so nothing that should make him opposed to running. At least he's a vampire now so he just teleports everywhere and saves me the frustration, lol. When he was human,…
  • I like her too. She's a tomboy and also cute. I have her flagged not to age right now because I'm saving her for one of my Sims to date down the line. She is a unique Sim and I think that's why I like her so much.
  • I do agree with you, I don't really care for horses and I rarely used them in TS3, they need too much space and most Sims 4 lots are so small I don't see how they're going to be very playable. I'd rather have rabbits, too, but I'm hoping that even if they aren't CAS-able that they'll be added as a minor pet at least. I'd…
  • This bugs me too but I will say that on rare occasions, maybe because of a glitch, I have had children born with pink or blue hair if one of their parents had it. I have a little girl in my game right now who has bright pink hair because that's the color her mother had when she was born. I leave it that way because it's so…
  • YOU prefer to keep aging and death disabled, and that's fine if that's how you like to play your game. However, many people do like to allow Sims to die, for various reasons, and that's fine too. Some people just like deviant play and killing Sims for fun. Some people like to allow aging and death so they can watch their…
