From what I've been given to understand, the chemistry lab is linked to logic. I'm not sure if the logic skill must be developed before you can use it or if by using it, you can learn the logic skill... or both?

From what I've read, I'm confident Generations will not contain weather. Information has been leaked that weather will be coming in October of this year. It's fun speculating but, I think this has been confirmed by a number of EA interviews.

I'm doing pretty much the same thing, Alan. Not the orphanage, which is a great idea but, I'm preparing my sims for Generations by spending more time building a family with skills appropriate to the new EP. I keep reminding myself that patience is a virtue but, perhaps virtuousness is over-rated.

I would like to see starter homes on larger lots. As the family grows and acquires skills, there is still room for enlarging the house, putting in a garden or perhaps a pond stocked with fish.
