error during start up, please see the log

i just uninstalled all my sims3 games and reinstalled the base game and updated. then i installed world adventures and when i clicked on the launcher,i got this code. "There is an error during start up. Please see the Log for more details." where is the log? i have tried a few things but nothing is working. should i uninstall again?
