I've been messing around with additives and my first I put in was cherries, which in turn caused my sims to become embarrassed about the foul smell of their clothing. but I have read that if you add flowers it will make the clothes smell good.... I've used so far, Daisy, Blue Bells, and Lillies and my sims still get the foul smell moodlet, and I've always made sure to remove additives before adding a new one or even washing the clothing....
I'm so confused, does anyone have an idea of which kind of flowers will make the clothes smell nice?

We're did you find roses?
There are some in Willow Creek near the picnic area in the neighborhood the Pancakes live.
I was trying to remember where I found them originally and that may have been it - I've been passing them around from family to family for a couple of generations now. I want to say there's also some in the little garden in the maze at the Von Haunt estate but I'd have to double check to be sure.
I've tried basil and orchids as flower additives and both have worked out well but I am not game enough to try some of the other options. (fireleaf as a flower additive? -yikes!)
It sounds like the OP's washing machine has become glitched. Anybody else had problems using flower additives after first using food additives in a machine? Maybe it's something that should be reported to EA.
The Road goes ever on and on And I must follow, if I can,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
Thank you again everyone ^^

Otherwise, it'd be good to know if you're using any mods. It's hard to determine if there's an actual issue here, as yours is the only report I've seen of this behavior.
The science facility! I finally remembered.
