Relationships disappear

I decide to start up my game after not playing for months. I play my legacy rotationally and I noticed that when I come back to a Sim all their relationships that was under 50% is gone. The Sims are not culled, they just disappear from my sims panel. Anyway to fix this?

I'm not entirely sure.. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but it sounds like Relationship culling. Apparently your sims cannot know too many people or else they'll suddenly get amnesia.

No More Relationship Culling mod will totally help. Just toss the one file into your MODS folder and it's all fixed.

If it's not that.. well.. I didn't think relationships decay if you're not playing your game. o.o That's kind of strange. Either way, hopefully I was helpful.

Yes, it sounds like relationship culling. If you have MC Command mod, that also has a option to turn on to stop relationship culling.

Thats relationship culling it was introduced in december. I'm afraid there is no way to fix it. You'll have to befriend everyone , but you can install mc command center to prevent this from happening again

Yeah we've all LOVED culling SO MUCH that EA/Maxis gave us the Christmas "gift" free of charge(!) of relationship culling in addition to physical culling! I for one can never get enough of introductions so I'm THRILLED(!)

Hello.
Relationship culling came with a patch.
Using either the No More Relationship Culling mod ( http://modthesims.info/d/568880) or using MC Command Center mod (http://modthesims.info/d/551680 ) can help the issue.
This link thread provides help for the MC Command Center Mod. If you decide to use it and you have questions about the settings, you can post about it there, and there are helpful simmers there that will help you.

Just as a heads up, as you rebuild your relationship graph, you could find your lot loading times increase a bit. Mine did that by about 2-3 seconds, to 12-15 seconds total. This is with a full world, after rebuilding almost all the basic relationships (workmates, clubmates, schoolmates, some neighbours).

Sadly my relationships seem to still get culled with the no relationship culling mod. Not on all houses tho so that's something! I will try MC command and see if that can help me a little bit more

I will keep an eye on my loading time and see if it increases, thank you @luthienrising for the heads up!

UPDATE
The No more relationship culling mod worked just fine when I restarted my game! Thanks for the tips guys! I cross my fingers that EA fixes this promptly, they really have to.
