Announcement! Birthday Greetings to my newest Grandchild!

Just wanted to share that my daughter and her new husband had their first baby early this morning. It's a baby girl, which makes a third girl for my daughter and a first biological girl for her husband. (He had two little sons from his previous marriage.) So, they have quite a housefull, now. The baby is beautiful, of course, with what appears to be a full head of blonde hair. I've only seen the picture her Daddy snapped of her this morning. I am hoping to visit in person a little later on today. My daughter has been up most of the night and had a C-section, so she's resting now.

That makes a total of five biological grandchildren and three by marriage. The tally? So far, five girls (one by marriage, the eldest at 13 yrs.) and three boys, one of which is biological. This grandma couldn't be happier.
