    Unable to connect to Origin?

    Thiis is seriously p-ing me off. I usually ignored it and played the game but my friend sent me a Sim.

    I tried unistalling Origin then reinstalling it. Doesn't work
    Opened Sims 3 launcher through Origin. Still can't connect to Origin
    Sims 3 and Origin are connected
    Downloaded Superpatcher.Nothing same version was still there. 16.0.136.020001
    I can log into the launcher just fine
    Can't update because I am not connected to origin
    Launcher is up to date
    Origin is up to date
    However, something popped up and asked me to update my store content and I pressed yes. Immediately after I clicked yes, it said it was updated. I refreshed my launcher, and the same thing popped up again. Asking if I wanted to update my store content, I again, pressed yes and it happened again! It's not updating. I just refreshed it now, and it says Unable to connect to Origin again.

      This might help:
      1. Clear cookies, temporary internet files, etc.
      2. Uninstall Origin & reinstall it. (Which you've done.)
      3. Try logging in through Origin itself before trying to log in from the launcher...or is it vice versa? :roll: Try both ways.
      4. Clear game cache files & reboot.

      I've had issues with Origin before & fiddling with these steps in varying order seems to finally make it work.

      Used patcher. Still wont connect to Origin and can't update cuz I am not connected to origin this is so annoying.
      If I delete those cache will my family be lost?

      Those cache files have nothing to do with your save games. I delete those cache files before I play every time. They will delete nothing in your games or families. We would not tell you to delete anything that would harm your games.

      I cant find
      CasPartCache.package: CAS parts that appear in Create-A-Sim
      compositorCache.package: New objects that would appear in Buy/Build mode
      scriptCache.package: Mods or Hacks
      simCompositorCache.package: New Sims, default skins
      socialCache.package.package: Information about the social aspects (Introduced with Patch 1.31)

      in any folder?

      Those are in The Sims 3 folder itself, not a sub-folder.

      Start --> Documents --> Electronic Arts --> The Sims 3. Those files are inside the sims 3 folder

      I've never been so dissapointed in my life. I was planning on getting Island Paradise but I guess I can't get it because I can't update. And there is no solution for it
