    Is this a first?!? Same sex pregnancy....No mods!

    Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find it. I have two "married" female sims living in Riverview. My son (real) decided to start a sim family there. He wanted to just change active household between him and myself so I reluctently agreed. He played for about 5 or 6 sim days, then we switched back to my household... There was a guy sim whom they had no relationship with living with them, and one of my married sims was pregnant. I thought I had a cheater, but there was no negative moodlet. He wasn't even in their relationship group. When the little girl was born I checked the family tree and the girl belongs to my two female sims.....Whats up??

      I heard the latest patch was making sims get married to other sims before having children, editing the story progression. Perhaps this meant the game made those married sims have a child with automated story progression, some kind of confusing possible screwup? I don't have experience but it's just an idea. ^^' I could swear I'd heard of a same-sex couple (males) in which one of the sims was actually pregnant. >w<

      No, This has happened to me before too! 2 female sims that didnt even live in the same house and only had a romantic interest had a child together..

      I had a similar instance, but with two male sims. I didn't like the genetics on one of my sim kids, so I had him fall in love with another male ... got him joined and then got him out of the house. Had a sim go down to the park a few days later and here came brother holding a toddler. Checked the family tree and he has two dads as father ...

      I have had it happen twice with male sims
      No mods here either. Its some kind of glitch that comes now and then

      I've kind of had this, my sim married a sim in the game and her parents in the family tree were Christopher Steel and some other guy. I just figured it was a glitch.

      The guy moving in was probably just a feature of Story Progression. Sims can move in and out of town as well as move in with other sims, which happened in your case.
