Patch Issues (Fixed)

I had to create a new sims 4 folder to play. No household lots from my previous folder would load.

Now I am seeing issues in the new save. Want to keep a list of things to track down since the patch.

1. Sims stuck at work. Tired moving them to a new lot. No go.
2. Cannot see milestones for aspiration. It's just blank. For all sims. Worked fine when I first started the new save.

Other simmers are also having the issue with sims being stuck at work
Try having the sims " leave work early" and see if that helps the issue.
If they are at home but it is still showing them at work, try having another sim that is in the household travel to another lot. Once that sim is on the other lot and you are controlling him, there will be icon on the Portrait of the sim that is at home. Click on " care for Self" and that may help to fix the issue.

The MC Command Center mod was causing the issues with the aspirations. There has been a new version of the mod released today. It would be good to remove the old version of the mod, and download /install the new version.

About to try those things right now. Glad to hear about the new release for the MCCC.

Also, wants/whims are not showing. But points are still being earned if I happen to fulfill one.

If the wants/whims still not apoear after you have installed the new version of MC Command Center, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem.
This is link to a thread that contains a list of some of the broken /updated mods. It may help you to see if the mods that you have in your game are broken and it lists the ones that have been updated to work with the patch.

Was able to then get the sims to leave work early.

Milestones show up.

@rosemow I see you've helped on a few forums with patch issues - hoping you / someone else can help. Since patching, the skin tight jeans for my sims are appearing under the tops / leotard my sims wear . I have no CC and no mods and have tried clicking "repair game" and this keeps occuring. Any ideas?

I am just checking . Are the jeans appearing on the sim or are the jeans in the wrong category in CAS?
I just am not quite sure what you mean.

In the movie hangout stuff pack we got the skin tight jeans the leotard type top with the lacey back detail. Usually the leotard would appear as "tucked" into the jeans. However, the leotard is appearing over the jeans. Along with all other tops that usually "tuck" into the skin tight jeans are all appearing to lap over the jeans. It wont let me upload a photo to show you..

Yes, my sims were stuck at work - "Leave Work Early" didn't help. In the end I got them to quit their jobs - that brought them home. Also, all their aspiration tasks have disappeared!

I have no game mods but do have CC.

Game keeps freezing at start screen. Tried Repair through Origin and clearing cache - no luck.

Any advice?

Moving the tray folder to the desktop may help.

Do you have any mods at all? I found that the mods were the issue for me. I ended up needing to remove my two mods, then download a clean version.

MC Command Center mod has been causing the issue with the missing aspirations tasks. A new version of the mod has been released. It would be good to remove the old versiion and download /install the new version.

Hello
Move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem.

If the issue remains, try switching between 32 bit mode and 64 bit mode and see if one of the modes helps you to be able to start the game.
Go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture.
Click on “Game Properties”. Click on Advanced Launch options.
Change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 32-bit”
Or change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 64-bit”
