I know I'm not the only one having this issue. Has anyone found a way to correct this?? Searching was a little hit and miss for me. Nothing I've done has worked so far.
Same here. I have reset my computer, I have reset origin, I have reset my internet and nothing. So I know it isn't because I am not actually connected to the internet.

Check that your antivurus or firewall are not causing issues with you being able to connect to online mode.
Also clear the origin files http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-origin-cache-files/
If you continue to have problems, uninstall and reinstall origin .
I have the same problem and I don't think its origin, I think its the sims because I am online when I am in origin. Now I don't have any other games I play on there but its when I go onto the sims that it says I have no internet connection. I am not sure how this whole thing works but I know its not my antivirus and I have tried the origin ones aswell. Still not working for some reason..

Try shutting down your computer, then rebooting your computer and see if that may help?

Also Dragon Age: Inquisition had an issue.
I restarted the computer, restarted Origin and all was fine.
