Cheat cured vamp still vomiting when eating food

So since my sim was a vampire in my other game and I wanted to make him human again I just used mc command center to remove his vampirism.
but when he eats he gets sick still
so i tried turning him back into a vampire and using a text cheat to remove his occult status
but he is still vomiting...
what can i do?
i think he had withered stomach but i mean he's not a vamp anymore

That happened with 1 of my vampires, nothing I did fixed the issue. I saved the sim, loaded him into a new game and the problem was still there, so I just kept him as a vampire.

I hope this works for you, I have used this cheat so I could reset my vampire weaknesses but have never tried this on a vampire turned human again, you may need to turn them back into a vampire again, once you use this cheat go into your vampire weakness menu and remove all weaknesses, with this cheat code you will need your sims ID number and not their name, type in cheat box

    bucks.lock_all_perks_for_bucks_type (sim ID) 40962 false
don't use () when you type in your sims ID number also there is a space between type and sim ID and a space between sim ID and 40962

If you don't already have a way to get your sims ID number here is a great mod for that http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=576053

^^ Maybe try the above comment. It's good to try to use the in game cheats instead of a modded one just to make sure it goes as intended.

that actually SEEMS to have worked.
I had him eat after I did that and he didn't spontaneously vomit so fingers crossed it doesn't' start again.

Sims that had their traits (and vampirism is basically a trait) changed via cheats or cas.fulleditmode will often still retain moodlets and behavior of their old traits. It's sort of a bug and usually can't be fixed, I'm glad this was an exception. It's always safer to turn them human using the ingame cure and if you want to change the traits of a sim already in the game create a twin in CAS instead.

I tried a couple of times to cure my Sim's vampirism using the ingame cure, all it did was reset his Power Points, not revert him back to a regular Sim. The poor guy couldn't sleep in a bed or eat regular food. In my new save, I turned his daughter into a regular Sim ... it worked and she went on to marry and raise a family of her own.

I was going to tell the OP this, too. Cheating doesn't pay with CAS cheat, because it will make the TS4 Sims retain elements of their previous traits, even a known thing (since release) about the CAS cheat of regular Sims. Thanks for explaining it as many people don't realize this about the CAS cheat.
