Laptop mode is off and hair still looks weird! (Please help!)

I've played the sims 4 for a very long time, and I've downloaded custom content for a very long time. One day, after the latest patch, I went into the sims 4, tried on some hair, and it looks just like before I turned of laptop mode! What happened!? Everything was going fine... I don't understand.

Maybe it was the latest patch, but that would mean that i'm not the only one...
I did download the sims 4 studio a few days ago, I merged some packages, then I unmerged them (wasn't working right)
I also downloaded the blender application for the sims 4 studio (then I uninstalled it)
I turned laptop mode on then off
I turned custom content off then on
I restarted my game each time I changed something in settings
And nothing is working!

Hello
The cc hair may have been broken by the latest patch. Try going back to where you downloaded the cc from and see if other simmers are also having the same issue or if an updated version has been released.
You could also try removing the cc, and redownloading the file again and see if that helps the issue.

Though, why this patch? Why not the last patch? The only thing I heard that was changed was the nanny...

And I have a LOT of custom content hairs, so I'm not sure on how i'm going to re-download all of them...

Is the issue affecting all your cc hair or only certain ones? If there is a number of cc hair affected, are they all from the same creator?

I believe that it is all of my hairs, I've clicked on a lot of them and they all end up the same

Also, try testing by downloading new cc hair and see if the issue remains. Don't merge the files together.

Try altering the graphics settings and see if that helps the issues.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music "folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.
Don't put back the old mods folder. Instead, place your cc/mods from the old desktop mods folder into the newly generated mods folder that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - sims 4 folder .
Then test to see if that helps

I apologize for not replying. My laptop has been occupied by someone else for a short while. Unfortunately, the first method did not work out. I downloaded the hair, but the hair reacted like everyone else. I will now try the second method...
