  • I don't like these ideas at all. Provided that this pack is called "small pets", we would already have gotten regular pets by that time. So this adoption thing is yet another reused feature. As already mentioned above, we already have this feature in GTW. We have GTW with a rocket, Sixam and a scientist career track. Not…
  • I understand you, AeroSimmer. 1. It is true for some that emotions feel out of place. The interactions tied with emotions do not differ from the regular ones ('anrgy poop' is the same as 'poop', for example. Yes, there are some which go really well with emotions (e.g. 'flirt confidently'), but there are too few of them.…
  • I know, but it still performs well when I do other things besides The Sims 4. Upgrading just for TS4 - nooo :) I said that "right after City Living my game was fine", this means that with CL everything was fine. It's not City Living that causes the problem. Also, I do not think the problem is with RAM, more like with GPU,…
  • I have already tried: 1. Removing the folder. 2. Updating OS. As I am a mac user and my GPU is made by AMD, I cannot just download or downgrade video drivers. We receive driver updates with OS updates. 3. Clean-installing OS. 4. Installing the base game without any dlc. I remember the game running beautifully after City…
  • I already wrote that right after City Living my game was fine. Nothing was added/changed. I don't have CC, mods. It just happened don't know why.
  • Then how do you explain that it worked before?
  • At this point, I've given up on toddlers. If they don't have enough money and time for working elevators, what about the whole life stage? So the players are better be happy with a bunch of new (or even just retextured!) objects.
  • I want to believethat they are planning to add toddlers. Why? 1) When asked about features that are not going to be implemented, they refer to the budget and time limitations. When asked about toddlers, they ignore it as they don't want to talk about future content. Well, to be honest, they do refer to some things…
  • The Sims 2 will always have a special place in my heart. I remember that time when it was first advertised (well, maybe it was not the first time, but I lived in the middle of nowhere with no internet connection and the only news source was gaming magazines). I was so fascinated with the life stages! It was a huge step…
  • Nope, not combining. Combining is like A + B I mean A * B. Anyways, it's offtopic.
  • Looks boring. It would be awesome if they didn't hardcode festival themes, but gave us tools to make our own festival rules and schedules. Looking to the bright side... Reused chocolate fountain from Luxury Stuff along with the ability to be a restaurant critic (actually visiting restaurants from Dine Out) show us that…
  • I doubt that all of them have played TS2 or TS3, as some of them, while replying to the questions about City Living, wondered how building of an apartment complex would differ from building a regular lot.
  • And how emotions system is more complex? 1) Ok, we have an object, it has a certain aura that will give a buff 1 (energized, priority: 1, lasts: 30min) 2) Ok, an event that will give a buff 2 (sad, priority: 3, lasts: 4hours) a sim who received these buffs will be sad for 4 hours, as buff 2 has higher priority than buff1…
  • Also in TS2 sims take into account the reputation of a sim they interacting with and the current season. The gameplay is so depth it cannot be compared with TS4. In TS4 emotions are just buffs, it's annoying and not realistic. Traits do not affect the personality at all - they all seem the same, wanting to "troll teh…
  • It will not go down. As I said previously - the game is doing fine, according to them. If you love TS4 - then you're their target audience, that's all. The don't care if a "subset of players" (as they said) is upset about the game. Fewer complainers -> better for them. They moved on, focusing on the new type of players…
  • Thanks for clarifying, sometimes it's hard to guess the context.
  • If I am bored with the game, I simply don't play for a while. There is no reason to to keep finding reasons to play the game that is boring.
  • I am waiting for toddlers to be finally be able to age babies too :(
  • I lost all hope
  • That's what I thought too when he referred to an apartment building as a neighborhood. If this true, it's just sad.
  • When TS4 was released, I thought that this was a joke. Even two years later, I still hope that EAxis would say someday: "Hey, it wasn't the real TS4, it was our Olympus and the next patch will make the game online. And now we are ready to announce the real TS4". But I know it's silly.
  • I can relate to that. One reason why I keep playing TS4 is that it runs well on my iMac 2011. I have Windows on Bootcamp and I can play TS2 too, though, but I am sometimes too lazy to restart the computer to switch to Windows... And TS3 doesn't run well on my mac.
  • I think they should have launched Olympus after all. And develop a proper The Sims 4 game. Why? I don't have any evidence that they are using Olympus leftovers, it's just speculation and assumption, but it seems like it. Imagine if it was an online Sims game. Then it's very reasonable and understandable why we can't edit…
