Funny story. My Gloomy Sim doesn't usually stay sad for long because his needs are well met and the Happy outweighs it. I was hoping for that boost to his creativity while writing. Ah well.
"Bayou Belle" was created to resemble the Southern plantation style of some of the other houses in Willow Creek. My gardener and artist live here. 2 BR (up to 4 possible) / 3 BA. 1F: Kitchen, dining, living, bar, half bath. 2F: Master and guest bedroom, art studio, computer room, science room, bathrooms.
This one is called "Modest Pad." It was the first house I designed and kept. The inhabitants seem to enjoy living there. 2BR / 2BA with two rooms that could be converted into additional bedrooms. 1F: Living room / bar, kitchen, dining, half bath. 2F: Master and guest bedroom, bathrooms, office, gym.
I also wish that you could customize the lifespan per life stage. So far, aging them up with birthdays when I'm ready has worked, but that doesn't help me with regards to the rest of the town. You used to be able to trigger aging up on NPCs, but I haven't found a way to do that here.
So far they only disappear when the relationship bar reaches zero (which is still annoying, because they've still met that person before). I'll keep an eye out for this.
I have the same bug (however, sometimes they will carry the dish a short distance and set it down somewhere else) and no CC or mods yet. It's getting irritating because they seem to have a much lower threshold for dirty surroundings in this game.
Energized: - coffee - exercise (possibly only with Active trait) - brisk shower Focused: - play chess Flirty: - romantic socials Inspired: - thoughtful shower - reading a book - watch shows (only seen cooking so far) for ideas - research cooking (possibly others too) on web Playful: - bubble bath - gummi bear pancakes, can…
Occasionally there will be plates/glasses for me that Sims will pick up, walk a short distance with, then put down again. Endlessly. I'll try restarting next time.
Try drawing the walls/rooms first, and floor tiles should appear for you to paint. It would seem we can't just place a floor tile wherever there's support any more.
As far as I can tell, chimneys are just caps that you place on the roof. I'm going to try making a chimney out of two-square brick-painted walls like I used to do in TS3 to hide the default chimney.
Gardening is quite good money... eventually. Once you're getting perfect life fruit and other expensive crops, you will rake it in. Starting out you should be able to take care of the bills, because it doesn't require any more than the initial investment unless you want to change crops by buying at the grocery store (as…
Yep, unfortunately they're controllable even if you (for example) only put in the chip to make them clean. However, the fewer chips you put in of the type that unlock behaviors/needs, the less controlling they need. A Plumbot with only Competent Cleaner will be selectable but act similar to Bonehilda, automatically…
If you have Supernatural, make a werewolf and have them hunt over and over. Eventually, you'll be able to hunt for gems specifically. If you cheat the werewolf's needs up, you should be able to find all the gems inside 30 minutes. Then save the household, put it temporarily in your main file, and transfer the stuff.
Twinbrook is my go-to town whenever my Sims are doing something where their mood at home makes a big impact (like painting). The empty house "Aerie Supply" is on a 40x40 lot with a +50 Beautiful Vista moodlet, which is the highest BV I'm aware of. Inventing and Sculpting are both neat skills. Self-employment is probably…
jbreland1230: I'm glad you love posting pics, they look really good. SupernaturalStar: I don't think I've seen you post about that family before; the kids are very cute. I'd have to see them as adults in CAS or something, but based solely on those pictures (and assuming looks are your main factor in choosing an heir), I…
By Jove, I think I've got it. A member of my very neglected "noble" vampire family is about to move in with them. That's all I will reveal until I've played enough to make an update in the other thread. You want tension? Boy howdy.
7. "N" 8. I'd pick the easiest (Museum) if it were me, but since you want to make money with the relics, I vote for Great Explorer. Seasoned Traveler takes a reeeeeally long time.
At the request of Icy_Riddler, here's what I've done with Viola Lanza so far. She had no LTW, so after reading her bio, I made it "Turn the Town." I need to think of a fun and probably scandalous way for her to become a vampire. Her first wish was to join the political career, which I thought was pretty funny, so she'll be…
Today's elixirs have been mailed. Puddinroy: Wish Enhancing Serum. blueybluesky: Bottled Blessing of the Fae. Hadesdragoness: Fountain of Youth Elixir. Alitoni: Bottled Witches' Brew. I think this is the only life state from Supernatural that can ONLY be achieved by elixir. The others can be passed on or gotten with an…
sammymcgoff: The Castors remain my favorite of your genetic experimentation. CPSuperFan: Looks like a promising start! I laughed when I saw that he was abducted on the first day... sammymcgoff: I think Fiona looks good. No, she wouldn't win any pageants, but I don't think she'd have much trouble finding a date either.…
Sorry, I got so enthralled with building that I forgot I said I'd vote. Q3. B Q4: Rabbithole purpleroses, I think question 4 has an extra comma in it. I took it to mean, "should it be a basic rabbithole career, a profession, or something else?" shadowcat, anyone may vote and the more who do, the better =)
