Here are my sims, Mila-Grace Ikeda and Trevor Bailey-Moon, tying the knot at their beach home in Sulani. Since they lead a modest life, they weren't looking for an extravagant wedding. Just one that had their close family and friends and, most importantly, somewhere they could exchange their vows by their beloved sea.
I've been playing since my big brother introduced me to the Sims 1 years back. I play now to escape when I can't get out of bed. I have a LOT of health issues, from t1 diabetes, leaking kidneys and depression and anxiety to CFS/ME. It's got a lot worse over the past few months and I'm finding that I'm spending a lot of my…
@brenleedee @chips46 thanks so much! It's my sims favourite hang out spot atm hahaha. I'm thinking of adding a bar though for a little extra pizzazz ;)
@Sim_Man17 thank you for such an informative comment. I agree with what you're saying completely. I think having a sibling game that implements these things is a great idea also! That way those that want it can have it, but those don't want it can steer clear of it.
I am definitely going to download this when I'm next on. It'll be perfect for my Sim and her toddler daughter because they're outgrowing their current home!
This is why I think it would be a good idea for a mod. That way, those who want it can download it, but those that don't, won't. I'm just trying to find a good modder who accepts huge requests :D because I have no idea how to do it myself. And yes I agree, the neglected pregnancy bit could be from a collapse or something,…
This is a lovely comment!! I do understand what you're saying about people taking advantage of it, I hadn't even thought of that. And the idea of picking up preferences from the parents is a really cool idea!
It really depends on the kind of life I want my sim to have. Apartments are great if you want a bustling social life. So yeah, to start out, they're great and much cheaper than houses. But once I want to settle down and have a family, I usually move to a house, because noisy neighbours waking up toddlers in the middle of…
I have a load of mods from Little Ms Sam, she's one of my fave modders. From her I have the ultrasound, food delivery service (which is great if you want your sim to have access to world foods without leaving their homes) and the atm mod which is great to take out loans. Because I don't like to use money cheats, having the…
This would be great. Then they could also set up a little shop and sell their creations. And it would be really cool if its a skill that elders could pick up faster, and if an elder teaches someone younger, the younger sim will learn the skill faster.
I would really like more part time jobs, like we had in ts3. Sometimes, if I have a stay-at-home mum, it would be nice for her to have a part-time job. But one where she can still get promoted.
Yes these are great ideas. I really miss being able to bathe babes n he sink, that used to be so cute. I like the rocking chair idea. I also wish parents could hold the baby while doing things, like watching tv, talking on the phone, reading, etc. And yes, more child-baby interactions would be sweet.
This doesn't have everything listed but I know Little Ms Sam has a mod called SimDa Dating app. It sets up blind dates for your sims and is quite cool, especially if you're struggling to find love lol.
I did this with my sim on TS4. Not strictly speaking, but it worked well for me. So I moved my sim onto an empty plot. Then I bought a separate plot for her business. I built a gallery on her business plot so that she could sell her paintings. I then built a small house behind the gallery where she took care of her needs…
