Well, now it's been confirmed that we're getting stuff packs along with gamepacks so that's already more content than we've previously dealt with. I'm excited for it! I like the price, hoping they're not reducing the number of items too drastically (but it's tough to gauge because ts3 packs varied in amounts of content) to compensate for it though.

I don't think it's just mods that broke from this update, when I tried mods alone (I only use two) that didn't make the crash happen. When I started adding my CC back in, that's when things went awry. I think I figured out which stuff does it though, and it's a shame because I really liked those Newsea hairstyles...

I disabled origin in game and that didn't work at first, I had a Gig of mods and cc that I took out've the folder temporarily and that got me past the logo, but I suspect there's more to it than that. Everything I have worked fine yesterday, some of the cc I created myself even :/

In the case of life stages those will more likely come as a patch due to compatibility issues with the gallery. If not toddlers I half expect to see pre-teens though, maybe there's where we'll see the height difference (taller than a kid because of the growth spurt, but they haven't finished it yet either)

If I ever got this bored I'd usually just set stuff on fire with mods, although those kinds of mods aren't out yet for TS4 so... *cough* Will donate cookies to modder that lets me BBQ again! *cough*

I've been wanting uprights since TS3. There was a cc upright available then but there were usually clipping issues when I went and played with it. Also, can sims teach other sims to play instruments at all? Because I want a piano room with an upright and a baby grand together, the same way I learned in the real world =D
