Perhaps it's designed that way, that infant milestones are meant to vanish? I mean, I know no RL person aged 20 who recalls when they had their first diaper failure, or first biting own toe etc. Or if they learned lifting their head before or after they learned laughing. These details i'm not afraid to see vanish later in…
I don't have any pic, just need to share :) During yesterday's simming session I was totally confused as I could click on the floor and choose "Call over Llama". I was playing a cow farm, with 4 animal sheds, and I had to double check that I did not replace one of the cows with a Llama. It's been a while since I played…
Flower bunny is the one on lots, but I noticed also far off any lot, on public hood ground, quite often I run into sets of two similar plants growing "shoulder by shoulder". I suspect that when seasons change, some plants with crops on might drop some produce to the ground near the mother plant. For a random NPC walking…
I had no bugs that I noticed. Everything runs brilliantly on my very old computer, and I added horses, sheep and goats to a large number of households. I'd say this is one of the packs with very few bugs, so I would not wait just because of bugs... I hired a farm hand only once, figured it was not suitable for that lot as…
I think they use the idea they had for the ranch entrance, where we could decorate and alter the archway, now for the new selling stand. I think it might be fun adding elements to the stand, matching your offer or your sim's style. Many wall decorations from other packs could be used to decorate the ranch gate, I hope it…
If appliances can be used on the selling stand surface, then we might be able to bring them in the sim's inventory? So, will my sim be allowed to bring her waffle toaster over to the neighbors to welcome them with some tasty treat, or to the play ground to make sure none of the children playing there are hungry, or to the…
I never had it happen. Had the pack for just about 4-5 weeks. I'm keeping detailed family trees of most of my sims, so I can't say I want the game to suggest new relatives. I can handle it if it happens just once, as it won't be a daily thing, obviously. I never saw the guy who everyone had moving in either - I think he…
I think it works differently than TS3, in case OP used TS3 as reference. Back then the "ground lot" was having the address, and I think it stayed unchanged even if new builds were added there from say gallery. In TS4 I think the lot info follows the lot/build. In my game I adjusted most addresses, and they never reset, but…
I did not explore the nectar feature a lot yet, but love that we finally got the nectar making. My only disappointment so far is that pouring multiple glasses will place them at dining table seats. It looks strange when nobody are seated there. I wish we could serve x glasses on a tray, then click the tray to have gusts…
The cooking filter is much needed, although I personally would want a meal filter even more than ingredient/style filter. Serving breakfast or preparing a sweet treat involves too much scrolling so my sims mostly eat the same stuff again and again, LOL. Quickly finding fish dishes seems good though. The video - I think we…
Stian Pratt-Anderson visiting Galloping Gulch. Having this awesome pack since 4 weeks, this was my first quick look-around in this hood. Gotta return soon! Btw: new chapter up on my blog.
Could the big news relate to the world menu upgrade? My start page is now full of world icons, so if they plan any more worlds I will need to scroll the world menu, and I really think it would be better not to scroll... With a new design there might be room for many new worlds to come... and, hopefully, vacation worlds…
Don't they provide some export file routine, in order to transfer info to another system? Reading this I'm so glad I programmed my own tree. Sorry for you all, knowing how much time you have invested.
I thought a sim would need to get hired again to benefit from the degree + bonus? So, if quitting the job is needed anyway, I'd just stay out of it during most of those uni years. In the long run the extra pay will more than cover up for the lost income. Might be easier to just take some odd jobs if needed to make ends…
On my "community section" There is now a page with info on horse breeds, traits and skills, with details on what might help (or nor help) regarding competition disciplines. Also added hints to in what geographical region (sim worlds) some breeds might be more common. Direct link to blog
My added holiday that I like the most is the "Leaf Burning Day", taking place last day of Fall, helping to keep the hoods tidy :) The family might enjoy a bbq or bonfire (public location), tell stories and not the least - burn those piles of leaves. If needed, some might go out a couple days before to rake up some piles.…
Awesome! I think there is some gear in CAS that could e used for a celebration :) I'll only d it once though, as I only celebrate the transfer from Adult to Elder.
I do for some sims :) My noble houses use gala stuff like sashes and tiaras, so 2 or 3 of their 5 formal slots will be gala outfits, leaving only 2 for general formal wear. Also, I keep track of who owns what jewelry, and by adding their favorites to outfits, I don't need to look it up as often. I'd hate seeing a duchess…
Been there. With all this DLC + tons of CC it gets very difficult finding some of the items. And it doesn't help a lot that we can see only 2 lines of icons at the time. Back in TS3 (or TS2) we could expand the catalog to show about 5 or more lines, which made it easier to look for somehing when you kind of know what you…
It turned out I did not have any of those new things installed. So, I'm currently patching my game, which seems to take foreeeever... Hoping the XMNC will get added with the updating...
Never tried, but I'd assume the horse would do just as well as other household members staying back home. When your sim returns the horse's needs will be randomly in the red/green, just as when you enter a new lot. I think it is possible to bring the horse, though :)
I'd gladly grab a pool kit if it comes with a way to lock off the entire pool. I'm a bit tired of sims jumping into the pool in Winter because they want to relax on some floating object. If it's just swim suits and sun glasses I think I might have enough already (will of course need to double check).
I think residential lots have become more available to be used to visitors. In my save I changed the New Appaloosa park training lot into a residential lot, and other sims can still visit and use anything on the lot without even knocking on that door. So, my sims living elsewhere can still visit to use the training…
Wow, I played the pack quite a bit but all this was new to me. I thought the shoe thing was just a tiny automatic thing, so I hardly paid attention to it. Thanks for sharing!
