The only glitch I've had is my Sim changing his clothes/appearance after drinking a potion. He turned into what I can only describe as a gay pornstar. Then shortly after that my game crashed. I've only played for a few hours and haven't played in a few days, so I'm not sure if my game has any other issues or if those were…
I appreciate the feedback and will be trying the Origin thing asap... But I still feel like I shouldn't have to do that just to play my game the way I want to.
Thanks to all who chimed in with their thoughts ;) I have decided to install the game even though I don't agree with the price that I paid for it. I do know that I will enjoy it :) Because even with the 6 expansions that I have for Sims 3, I still find that boring. This game looks like it has enough in it to keep me…
I'm just really disappointed that I might not be able to get the game. And I don't trust Walmart as far as buying video games; I would rather go to EB Games. Which happens to be the store that I mentioned in my original post. I was just really hoping that I could go to the store and physically buy it without having to…
I'm from Canada and we usually get the Sims games at the same time as the States... Plus, I live in a small town so I don't have access to Amazon, and wouldn't I still need a credit card for that site?
YAY!! I'm supported!! AMD Raedon R7 260 series graphics card :) Sometimes with Sims 3 I would get a notification saying it didn't recognize or support my graphics card... But this is a HUGE encourager for me, seeing as I'm "still on the fence" about Sims 4 :|
I probably won't continue playing Sims 3, cause I barely play it now. That's because I get bored with the game VERY quickly. And I'm almost always doing the same things over and over again. I only bought Sims 3 because I was devastated when my Sims 2 games wouldn't work on my old laptop (the disc was too scratched). So…
I think the problem is their Houseboat isn't docked at a port when the game starts... But I'm not sure if that's right or if there are any other issues
None of my games are past the First generation because I just got a new computer and haven't had much time to play. :? But the longest that I ever played a Sim family was to the fourth generation. That was years ago when I only had the base game. And that still took months of playing time. It was a family I made…
The only way I ever got my male Sims to get pregnant was by using the fertility treatment on them prior to them using the telescope. Then I had to get them to "stargaze" for a few nights in a row... and reload the game sometimes
My favorite is De Anda Hall... I'm not sure why though. It might be the Murphy beds, but no one's died from them... They are my favorite type of bed though  I have had Sims live in Malan and Henry Hall as well, and I find they all have their pros/cons... They mostly surround who will be living with your Sims…
Thanks guys!! :D You helped a lot. After this I'm feeling pretty good about buying myself a new computer 8) I'm gonna go to my local store tmrw or Tuesday and see about buying the second desktop I found. It says that it's out of stock, but I'm certain they can order it in from another store  Thanks for all the help!!…
Or would this one be better? http://www.staples.ca/en/ASUS-M51BC-CA001S-Desktop-33GHz-AMD-FX-Series-FX-8300-16GB-DDR3/product_319587_2-CA_1_20001?externalize=certona I really have no idea whether AMD is a good processor... I've only ever dealt with Intel computers...
Good to know someone from Staples actually knows something about computers :) The people that work at my local store are idiots... Decent people but not very helpful with computers... If I get this computer, play the game and find it doesn't work too well... What kind of graphics card would you recommend? And where…
So this is the desktop I've been looking at: http://www.staples.ca/en/Asus-M11AD-CA003S-Desktop-28GHz-Intel-Core-i5-4440S-8GB-DDR3-RAM/product_64900_2-CA_1_20001 Would this be able to hold up while playing Sims 3? I want to use the base game, Supernatural, Seasons, and University Life... As well as a few items from the…
I currently have a laptop but I highly doubt that I will miss it... When I play Sims now I'm always at home because of all the things that I have to take with me when I go somewhere... I have a mouse and cooling pad as well as the charge cord So really, my laptop is a sort of portable computer... I rarely bring it with me…
Laptops can be upgraded... I got more RAM for my laptop last July, but I think that's the only part of a laptop that can be upgraded... I don't really have a budget but I'm not willing to pay more than $1000
Rebooting my computer didn't help... Still wouldn't install properly... And the only thing I've changed is turning off "full screen" I've never had any problems before... I don't know what's going on
Yes, I am... Considering that I'm not the least bit interested in TS4. I still play TS2 even though I also have TS3. So, no I will not stop playing a game that I already have just because they have announced a new one. I'm not a sheep... I make my own decisions. And I will not be buying TS4.
To everyone who supported my opinion and understood it, thank you. To everyone who was being mean and rude, it is my opinion and I am entitled to it. Just because I'm not willing to "jump on the Sims 4 band-wagon" doesn't give you the right to be mean to me
