This is how I feel. I haven't played the game for a few weeks as it happens but I have no interest in a cooking-themed pack. Then again, my PC has been so erratic lately I've felt that buying new content isn't a good idea for me right now, even though I do like the thought of having horses in my game. At this point, only…
This is something that concerns me too. I took the game off my PC for a few months and it was amazing how much space was created. I started missing it and put it back, then I had to take other games off when I wanted to install Crusader Kings III because it couldn't cope, and I had to put a lot of stuff on an extra hard…
EP: Get Together GP: Parenthood (I love ROM but I don't always play spellcasters whereas the majority of my sims end up with kids) SP: Nifty Knitting Kit: The one that became free, it's the only one I own.
I thought the stream was long enough. I found the longer ones a bit too long, and they tended to focus too much on CAS and the new items when half the fun of the new items is looking at them for myself. I remember with the ROM stream they spent ages looking at the furniture and the different swatches.
I always thought that was an oversight on their part. It's a shame there's not a sage for alchemy, but I guess the number 3 is considered more magical.
It would be amazing if we could customise sims' skills, jobs and financial status to our liking in CAS. I use story mode occasionally but it's hard to create a sim that fits my exact requirements, and those can be only YA and above.
I hate the view that just because someone has something they shouldn't want something different. Ideally, games should cater to a variety of different demographics.
That's interesting. I write a lot and I've never consciously written anything where one of the main characters is my dream guy or anything, but I have definitely been attracted to some of them. The MC in the series I've been writing for the past few years is significantly younger than my ideal age bracket would be, and I…
Fictional characters are so much more fun. I tend to think of myself as demisexual but I am generally attracted to fictional characters more than real life people. Then again, I so rarely get the chance to meet single guys, and the online dating thing makes me uncomfortable, so I'm not too sure how genuine my feelings are,…
That would be ideal. There should definitely be an option to apply medical wearables (including glasses) to all categories except possibly sleepwear and swimwear, and then if you want to change the item i.e. to reflect a different pair of glasses you have the option to change the style. But of course sims should have the…
Thanks for the giveaway. I got horse mom. I'm not into horses IRL but I loved them in Sims 3. A few of the characters in my book series have close bonds with their horses - they are army officers in a world where riding is a common activity and part of their job.
You will need to make sure any rooms you add work with the existing house you have, or you can build an entire house with the premade rooms and just fix the doors and add any corridors, stairs etc you need.
Thank you for your kind words. I don't feel actively guilty for thinking I could be NB, but I do have a lot of internalised guilt for various reasons, some relating to my gender identity, others not. I also have a tendency to mentally beat myself up for not doing things differently, and for yielding to family pressure…
With Sims 3 and Sims 4 I have switched to the new game for maybe a year, then missed the extra content so much I had to switch back to the previous iteration for some time. On both occasions I later went back to the current version some time after expansions were released. I have no particular desire to start all over…
I wish my parents thought more like you, but alas they are very much stuck in their old-fashioned views. I just wish it didn't take me so long to realise that their views on gender and race are so outdated .
In honour of Pride Month, here (on the left) is my latest iteration of my simself, basically the same simself I always use but with they-them pronouns, and with a pride t-shirt as one of her outfits. IRL I am definitely sticking with the same she/her pronouns though because I don't feel like a "they." The simself is a…
