Some completely common and normal Japanese surnames frequently get the "banned on gallery" response when you save the household in CAS because of sequences of letters in the middle of the name happen (by utter coincidence) to be the same as certain swear words in English. I have even seen it happen with names that the game…
I especially do want the chin-up bars and the exercise bikes. I don't really care if they have effects on the sims that are different from the treadmills and weight lifting chairs, I just want new animations for more visual variety in my screenshots. I would definitely buy a pack with those.
You can save your sim to your own library while you are still working on them, as long as you give them a name and traits (you can still change their traits after that as long as you don't exit). I do this all the time. If the game crashes while still in CAS, I can grab the sim from my library when I restart and continue…
I guess this is my answer. The only one of those items I would want to be functional is the air conditioner unit (if it worked the way the heaters work in Snowy Escape). The rest I'd love to have as decor for visual detail and ambiance, but I don't want them breaking or needing any attention and interfering with what I'm…
My sims almost always live in houses I designed and built myself (with a few exceptions). But usually, the house starts off simple, and I add to it over time as the sims need more space, so often I'm just making it up as I go. If I am building something all in one go, I usually use photographs or artwork of buildings for…
I like the look of several of the items in the Lux kit. So I might eventually buy it when I reach some point in my story where I decide I simply must use those items and nothing else will do (which is what eventually happened with me and the "Simtimates Collection" kit).
Well, probably not immediately immediately. At some convenient point in the future. But I don't always wait for sales on stuff packs if I want them enough.
But I can't help but notice, you gave them what appears to be indoor restrooms this time, and you didn't even put the bee hive blocking the doors. Are you getting soft? 😜
@luckyheather Thanks! I love your Urban Gamers Van. The glowing details on the furniture and decor gives it the perfect high tech vibe. And I like how you put the kitchen in the smaller room and opened up more space in the main room that way.
I just found your story thread today. It's really good! I love your characters and the different points of view. Very curious to see what happens next.
A mod that gives the player more direct control over what happens and how things work, so the game becomes less of a game and more of a creative studio/box of toys that I can use for doing whatever I want. But I also use mods that turn off "features" that annoy me, mods that fix bugs, and a massive boat load of cc.
@Lenny_Ogg Definitely working on more chapters! It's just taking longer than anticipated. I like that shot with the crystals around the portal. Looks cool! One of the other types of edits I do a lot is fixing clipping issues. Clipping really bothers me in my story images. So if I can't fix it by doing something different…
Thanks @Ellupelluellu ! Sad to say, this is probably one of my best landscaping attempts. But I'm really happy with how it came out overall. It's perfect for my guys who moved to Moonwood Mill.
I would definitely be interested in a hotel game pack (similar to the restaurant game pack) that is entirely focused on a really well designed system for making, visiting, and running hotels. I'm most interested in being able to build my own hotel lots, set the uniforms from CAS like we can for restaurant uniforms, build…
For images in my simlit stories, I do sometimes use filters, though not a lot. I haven't tried any of the online AI drawing/painting type programs yet. Though, the results could be very useful for making some cc decor I might need for the story. I might look into that. I do make composites, which I typically just do by…
I love the fact that we can edit them, remove them, or make our own holidays. I like making up my own holidays, and I make different holidays with different traditions for different saves. I also use the "travel" tradition to to remind me when I want to have my sims go on vacation.
Thank you so much @simgirl1010 for passing the information from "that site" to us over here. I find it frustrating that the Sims 4 developers and gurus do not share most of the information about the new packs on the official Sims 4 forum. Your thread is always super helpful to me, and I appreciate the extra effort you go…
