In Australia, the Federal Government passed the Social Media (Anti-Trolling) Bill 2022.

Basically, Australians can demand the identity of the abuser to be revealed, or the host can get treated as the publisher.
Yes indeedy. Including snow. Think Colorado, Utah, parts of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Although they have some barren, desert-like landscapes they do get snow. I like the old Spanish fort idea. There's loads of those to find in pictures for inspiration.
I don't know what the rules of your challenge are, but in a traditional legacy in Sims 2, its perfectly alright to move in as many townies as you like, just not pre-played or pre-homed sims. You can gain their money that way, and boot them back out, or not, but you can't move them back in after that (In a legacy. Do what…
Go and visit someone else's house, use their stove with your own ingredients to save money, which you can get from the community garden, and ignore the owner of the house when they say you're being rude, and put the food in your inventory and go eat it somewhere else. If you throw a party or you accept someone else's party…
@Katofhyrule12 thanks :) I can see on my other computer the pics did show up. I wonder why it does that on this PC. As I mention on my site, the hedges around the front are recoloured to look old military material. They're from into the future, pretty sure, the only one's able to be recoloured. The inner hedges are framing…
If the pictures I put there didn't show up, as they only appear as "Screenshot-901.jpg" etc to me! Then here is a link to where I posted them on my site. bobbiedivsworks.com/index.php/2023/09/13/improved-shack-in-lucky-palms/
I took inspiration from some RL homes in areas of Palm Springs, and Vegas, and mixed them together. Because just like on one side of Lucky Palms is the fancy modern architect dude houses, but apparently they're like the 50's/60s .. but anyway, on the other side of Lucky Palms is older type houses that are trying to be ...…
Only a small handful of people in Sims 2 ever completed a traditional 10 generation legacy. Including the Uglacy. That one was probably easier while the sims weren't so precious.
@CharlieBleu the issue isn't about crashes or lag, because that happens with any game, legacy or not, especially after adding CC or the house gets big Its that by about generation 3 or 4 there's a few scenarios that end it:* you get too attached and can't get around to letting them die * you get bored because they've got…
@Karritz sounds like a nice way to go with the max life spans rather than turn the aging off. I get a bit sick of them if they live too long, especially if the house is full. I remember ... before I used mods, my sim spent a bit of time building her career and money first, so then when I was ready for her to find a hubby,…
As far as I've seen, townies still get generated and born, and sims still die, just not of old age. If you still want sims to age up, you can get them to interact with the birthday cake, to manually age them up when you're ready.
@EA_Cade said: "(We understand that you may have ideas related to Project Rene content, features, and improvements. The Sims team cannot use your unsolicited ideas and we have to delete them so please do not submit your ideas to us.)" in the opening thread of this category of the forum. If he's implying that would mean…
Is the jewellery thingy in the store any good? Tiberium is ... in Egypt right? What uses do the other gems and metals have? I know the pink diamond is used in the simbot master inventing thing. 'Soul-peace' is used somehow for curing Mummies, or is it? Copper ingot bars are a quest in China Some of the regular gems and…
Allow my sims a second baby. And then a bit later throw all caution down the toilet and say ah heck, and let them have a few more, then end up with too many sims in the house that have to die or move out so the next generation can get married or have babies ... although it does add to the drama. But it's tricky and chews…
@Coconut27 that's a beautiful, charming wedding and game. Old-fashioned and un-fake. Love it. Your guests all behaved themselves and gathered at the wedding arch for the ceremony. Did you make them, or lure them?
There are two main epics people know, that are from the ancient Greek poet guy named Homer: The Odyssey, which has all the monsters, including the sirens (mermaids), and The Iliad which is all about Troy. You'll see something in the opening credits of movies and TV shows about Troy that say something about the author named…
@Rflong7 I don't understand why you needed to redownload the whole store if you pared everything back to its earlier version. Why not use the old plumbob package files from a kept folder? If they're having the new problem then that would mean the efforts of reverting back to an earlier version didn't completely block EA…
The Life by You sims remind me of Thunderbirds robots, and Runescape characters. It also seems to include the babyish gameplay of Sims 4, and the plastic houses.
@Rflong7 ah ok. So if I were to uninstall, then reinstall using only disks, as long as they're from before 2012, there wouldn't be 1.69, and then I could download the 1.67 and trust it and ignore the warning, and then there won't be a switch to the EA app, and the Store content from package files in my old folders,…
