Yes indeedy. Including snow. Think Colorado, Utah, parts of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Although they have some barren, desert-like landscapes they do get snow. I like the old Spanish fort idea. There's loads of those to find in pictures for inspiration.

Only a small handful of people in Sims 2 ever completed a traditional 10 generation legacy. Including the Uglacy. That one was probably easier while the sims weren't so precious.

As far as I've seen, townies still get generated and born, and sims still die, just not of old age. If you still want sims to age up, you can get them to interact with the birthday cake, to manually age them up when you're ready.

@Rflong7 I don't understand why you needed to redownload the whole store if you pared everything back to its earlier version. Why not use the old plumbob package files from a kept folder? If they're having the new problem then that would mean the efforts of reverting back to an earlier version didn't completely block EA…

The Life by You sims remind me of Thunderbirds robots, and Runescape characters. It also seems to include the babyish gameplay of Sims 4, and the plastic houses.
